Part-Time Full-Stack Development

I'm happy to report that I learned so much from Uplift Code Camp. I was looking for places to study coding and upon seeing Uplift Code Camp, I believed that this bootcamp was the right fit for my needs. I'm grateful that Uplift Code Camp provided all the resources I needed to get started with my coding journey. Additionally, they provide endless support. Plus, the instructors, teaching assistants, mentors, and staff are patient and always understanding. Thank you Uplift Code Camp!

     I was lucky enough to have joined in the Uplift Full Stack Web Development Program. My participation uplifted my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Tailwind, Mongo DB, Node JS, and many others. Moreover, I gained knowledge and had an experience in deploying to the web, the projects which I successfully accomplished such as Image Search App, Customize Accessories App, Portfolios, and others. Making your own websites is not that easy because you need to exert effort, spend your time and really think and apply your knowledge in order to make one. In my journey, I have encountered coding problems and errors but I am fortunate to have instructors who are always there to help and share their wisdom.     This bootcamp is a very good training ground to those who would like to learn about programming and developing websites. Comprehensive lectures and discussions are given in which you will be taught about the basics in website development. Instructors welcome and always recognize our queries. If due to unavoidable circumstances, you missed a session, you have nothing to worry about because the recorded video is provided. I am beyond grateful to the uplift family for this wonderful learning experience that will surely pave me the way in my journey for a brighter future. Once again, my sincerest thanks to Sir Milo and Sir Jaypee, for I am now close to achieving my dream as a web developer.     Thank you so much and more power! 

What I love about the boot camp is their dedication to students' well-being, even beyond the program. Uplift Code Camp offers full-time and part-time classes, perfect for those with 9-5 jobs and busy schedules. Classes are live, allowing interaction and questions, and they are also recorded for later viewing. One-on-one consultations with teachers are available whenever we encounter blockers or need assistance. Supportive and understanding environment.In addition to coding, enrolling also provides access to perks such as pairing with a 1:1 mentor, tech mock interviews, resume & portfolio guidance, job opening updates, which are really helpful for career shifters. The team behind Uplift is highly organized, and the teachers are backed with years of experience and practice. I highly recommend it.

At first, web development seemed so scary to learn, as there are lots of hard topics and complex problems. Uplift Code Camp was able to teach it in an easily digestible way that helped us easily understand different concepts in web development. On the other hand, they required the students to do different projects for us to apply what we have learned.The teachers were very helpful and understanding. I would recommend this bootcamp to anyone who has no background in web development and is eager to start their web development journey.

I've learned a tremendous amount during my time here and have greatly benefited from the experience. The instructors were knowledgeable, approachable, and enthusiastic about teaching. Their passion for coding was evident, and they made complex concepts easy to understand through clear explanations and real-world examples.

One thing that attracted me to join this bootcamp was because of the schedule they offer. The lessons are strategically spread out in a span of 6 months, perfectly catered for people with an 8-5 work schedule. The sessions start at 7PM, and each session lasts 2 hours and 25 minutes each weekday. This schedule allowed me to absorb the lessons after a taxing day at work.What truly made this bootcamp invaluable were the very supportive and understanding instructors. Their teachings and guidance created an environment where students help each other instead of competing. Also included in the course is the career booster series where we were taught how to craft resumes, optimize LinkedIn profiles, and simulating technical interviews.Post-graduation, the guidance never ends because students and alumnis alike are still connected through the dedicated Discord server, a space to share knowledge, job postings, and to network with each other. A community indeed.

I would recommend it to my friends. But I would advise them to get a basic course on the side. There are a lot of homeworks, projects and exercises for hands on experience. It was very challenging but the experience was fun especially for someone who wants to upskill

As an individual with a background in industrial engineering, I approached the Full Stack Web Development course at Uplift Code Camp with zero knowledge in programming and web development. The transition from industrial engineering to the tech industry seemed daunting, but my experience at Uplift Code Camp turned out to be transformative and empowering.

Uplift code camp taught me the fundamentals of full stack web development. The classes were paced well and the projects were adequate for our portfolio. Both teamwork and solo learning were highly encouraged. I was able to do all of the code exercises on the weekend while doing classes on weekdays. I was able to participate coding with my batchmates. After all of the projects, I was able to create a portfolio worthy of sharing to my future employers.

 As a current student at Uplift Code Camp, I am thrilled with the program. The curriculum is excellent, the instructors are fantastic, and the community is amazing. I'm eager to continue my journey here and sharpen my coding skills even more! 

I inquired and did the pre-test and interviews in many boot camps in PH, but I chose to enroll with UPLIFT. Why? First, they reply fast to my multiple questions. The videos on their SNS page, the reviews and testimonials of their past students, and easy to access application page also helped me get myself out there. Once I did the steps in the applications, I was already scheduled for an interview at my own convenient time. Someone reached out and make sure there are the next steps for me to do. That makes "entering a new word" easier.   Not only that - they laid out different payment modes and opportunities on how I can join considering my capacity.As a career shifter, unsure if I'm able to learn coding & tech, they made my decision to challenge myself in a new field more sensible and doable. And that decision landed me now here, as an enrolled student starting this new challenging adventure with them. (WILL UPDATE MY REVIEW AND SHARE EXPERIENCES ONCE I GRADUATE - Wish me luck, and send prayers ^^)

As an applicant and currently a student at Uplift Code Camp, I can say that this is the best coding boot camp ever! The instructors and staff at Uplift are amiable and approachable. They provide quality education and rest assured you'll learn from them. One thing I also liked about Uplift Code Camp is they have well-organized learning environment and they let their students have fun and learn at the same time. They also provide reflection sessions which is very helpful to me as an individual.All in all,  I am grateful that I found this coding camp early. Thank you, Uplift Code Camp! My uplift experience was pretty amazing from start to finish and even after I got a job as a cloud infrastructure software engineer. My Instructor was very knowledgeable, easy to understand and follow. The sequence of the curriculum are quite strategic. They also have well being programs, CV assistance and HR/Tech mock interviews aside from learning the lessons. They will let you experience both individual and group project. My Instructor sir Jag really taught me well not just coding but also the best practices. The Staffs and even the CEO are easy to reach out. They also have a channel wherein you can ask a question regarding codes or even share your hobbies. So for me Uplift wasn't just only a great coding Bootcamp but also a community that you can rely on.PROS:The Instructor will make sure everybody follows even the students with no zero programming background. They have a community that you can ask anytime while learning or even after graduation. The HR staffs will usually ask you if you are doing alright while learning. You will learn about the best practices.CONS:For my experience the students specially with current work need to make sure that their time is well managed because they need to make projects aside from learning. 

Uplift Bootcamp helps me to dive into tech industry. Not only it taught me the knowledge and skills to develop a website/app, it also boost my mental health and exceeds my expectations.Pros: Approachable instructor and the best teacher assistant. Cons: Not their fault, but it's hard to manage your time specially if you're working.

Learning how to code is hard, especially without having any CS background. What I love about the Uplift community is their ability to proactively offer unwavering support to their students throughout their programming journey. They don’t shy away from receiving constructive feedback and even highly encourage it to be able to course correct and constantly improve for the growth and betterment of the community.My experience with Uplift was far from smooth sailing. It’s one thing to learn how to code with zero tech background, it’s an entirely different thing when joining a coding camp while also juggling two jobs. I’ve experienced the lowest of lows while taking the program but somehow still came out victorious…exhausted but still victorious. The team behind Uplift were flexible and helpful enough to assist me when I was faced with a conundrum that made me temporarily drop out of the program. That’s when you know they really value their students.When I first joined the program, I was greeted with enthusiasm. When I graduated, I was greeted with the same enthusiasm. It’s hard not to be excited for yourself too. If not THE best, Uplift is one of the best schools to take courses and programs in web development to kickstart your career in tech.

After considering all the bootcamps in the Philippines in Q1 of 2021, what made me choose Uplift is what seemed to be their devotion to helping people learn how to code — and, well, 'uplifting' people through tech. Their 'why' of doing things stood out to me. It wasn't all about business and profit. Midway through the program, my hunch was proven correct.  I barely knew anything about web development when I started (there's plenty to learn after only more than a year in tech!) and I didn't come from a science background, but I graduated (maybe overly) confident that I can do whatever app I want to make because of the exercises and projects we created.  We were taught the basics. HTML, CSS, JS, React, Node. Also how to use other frameworks and a few helpful packages... These are things one can find online but to pivot to be a web developer or be in tech, in general, a supportive community is needed. So besides teaching the technical stuff, Uplift provided a safe and welcoming online space to actually allow learning.  Going through this program wasn't easy. It was still intense! But learning was made fun and not like pulling teeth. I think it's easy to teach, but harder to foster spaces like the one they provide.  We had seminars in design thinking, taking care of one's mental health, time management, writing a resume and representing yourself online via platforms and creating a portfolio, etc. We also had mock HR and technical interviews, which are always grueling, but we were guided and given feedback on how to improve ourselves.  Uplift is really a community with the student/learner's interest in mind. I finished the program thinking I am/can be a 'good' developer and not just in the technical sense, but also in how tech is ultimately for people and to be a developer one has to always keep that in mind. 
Also, the people behind this coding camp are respectful, competent, well-rounded individuals, so dealing with them is always a pleasure!
