Online Cyber Security Boot Camp (part-time)

I'm a recent graduate of the Cyber Security Boot Camp, and I've been very happy with what I've learned so far!  I'm new to the industry, and the course starts off assuming you know very little about computers.  This builds on itself, and soon you see yourself creating websites, building databases, learning about networks, and of course you get to work with some great Cyber Security tools.  The Live Course at the end gives you practical experience in the work of Cyber Security, and the Job Placement module was very helpful in creating tech-oriented resumes and navigating a unique interview process.  The organization is very transparent about costs and expectations.  The staff and instructors were always very helpful and positive.  The Boot Camp was well organized, and learned information was reinforced through out.  This was very manageable with a full-time job.  The program was much better than many of my college classes! I very highly recommend this program to anyone looking to get their feet wet in Cyber Security! 

Pros: Instructors are helpful, attentive, and readily available. Cirriculum is easy to understand even without a tech background. 2 week live project to help practice new skills.Cons: Too many videos, not enough practice

I just graduated and it was a great experience. I highly recommend The Tech Academy, the instructors were fantastic and the part time option was just right. I was impressed from the very beginning, no assumptions were made about how much I knew or didn’t know. The curriculum is designed to give you a solid foundation and build on that foundation. The Tech Academy is a great choice for people who want to transition from a nontechnical industry to the tech industry. 

My time spent learning through The Tech Academy, was an amazing experience. They set you up for success right from the start. You just have to put the effort in. Their goal is to truly make you well rounded, and build a solid foundation. I highly recommend any one trying to get into tech, reach out to them.  

I had a great experience with The Tech Academy. The only reason I say it was good and not great is because I took their cybersecurity course, which from my understanding is fairly new for them. It seemed to have more of a web development focus. Overall, TTA is amazing. The instructors are responsive and helpful. I would recommend to anyone, especially beginners who know nothing about technology.
