Basically a copy and paste type of school. Instructor encouraged me to copy another students GitHub code to finish final project rather than problem solving. Company bribes you with money to leave 5 star reviews upon completion of course and helps you manipulate/lie on your resume to trick companies into hiring you. Worst 10k I’ve ever spent.

Like many of us looking to advance our careers and finding ourselves searching quick programs, I compared a few different companies looking at prices and reviews. I will always be grateful I chose The Tech Academy for a number of reasons. I gained confidence that software development was in reach for me and the courses I took walked me from knowing next to nothing to feeling I could actually work in a career as a software developer. Beyond the courses I have been impressed with the job placement staff at The Tech Academy.I finished my short boot camp two years ago and their staff is still interested in helping me find a career. My own life events put a pause on my job search in the tech field shortly after finishing my boot camp and although that pause lasted months and months, their job placement staff is still ready to help me work on preparing to find that job. Thank you!

I had prior experience with programming before I joined this bootcamp and the main purpose was to add and reinforce knowledge. Needless to say, the bootcamp exceeded the expectations. Yes some things are repetative and even if you know something well you can't skip it (which did end up pretty annoying sometimes). I took the online course, but my advice would be to to the bootcamp in-person if possible (you'll get more connections and a physical place you go to). You do learn, computer basics, computer parts, binary and base system, web design, web programming, console applications and finally dynamic web applications with an database backend that you need to program with. A best course I went through so far was Job Placement, as a former Intervert with Imposter Syndrome, I consistently thought I was under-qualified and yes, in some cases I was, but it really changes your mindset and provide feedback on what to improve and do mock interviews too. I am likely to go back to the school for additional training in other areas.

I am so happy that I chose the Tech Academy bootcamp. It really is so worth the cost. I was able to learn so much and in such a meaningful way. The staff is also incredibly helpful, I felt their genuine want to help me every time I reached out to someone. I cannot thank all the staff enough for their kindness and willingness to teach and guide me through this process.

My time at the tech academy was an amazing rush of fun and knowledge. They start you off with the complete basics. Then you dive into it rather fast, BUT, it's structured so well that it's easy to learn as you go. I did it online, full time, while working and raising kids. If I'm able to graduate, you can too!Pros: StructuredJob Support ( These guys are crazy awesome. Sending you applications as well as resume advice)StaffCons: I did my ISA through Leif, and honestly I'd much rather have just paid in full.

I highly recommend The Tech Academy for anyone looking to enter the tech industry. I started with little to no knowledge of computer programming and graduated with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of computer programming and the ability to code in several languages. The curriculum was great, the staff was awesome, I learned a ton and had a lot of fun!

First and foremost, The Tech Academy is an awesome industry to attend if you want to learn how to code. There are many different bootcamps to take so you don't have to be subjected to only one bootcamp. Now, I took the C# & .NET Framework Bootcamp where it really opened my eyes about how web applications run behind-the-scenes. There is so much information to gather in this course that I feel confident in coding now. It's always great to learn a new skill and apply it to the new world, and a career in Software Development. Overall, The Tech Academy is a school I recommend to anyone to attend if they have the desire to become a Software Developer.

I took a big leap in deciding to change careers and took a good amount of time in deciding which boot camp I wanted to take but I'm glad I chose The Tech Academy! The fact that it is self-paced was perfect as I decided to keep working part time while taking the full-time course. While always being encouraging and educational, they also help to set you up with realistic expectations and tips on how to actually succeed in the tech industry. It was a busy and sometimes stressful four months, but I learned so many valuable skills and had the support of some really great instructors along the way. They were helpful and kind every step of the way!

Right from the start, there are people that are working with you the entire way and want you to succeed, from their recruitment staff to the staff that you eventually work with in Job Placement, they're all so attentative. With this course being paced by you and you alone, it leaves plenty of room for error, but thanks to the structure of the bootcamp, the instructors that keep up with you, and the constant communication between you and them, it's made so much more managable. They've taken an approach to teaching students from the ground up, starting with things like, what is the internet and how does it work, and even going so far as to do the same about your computer. Using things like this helps give an extremely well-rounded knowledge no matter which bootcamp you end up taking, and makes approaching the harder concepts much less intimidating. On my C# and .NET Bootcamp I first learned Python, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, so that they can prepare you and introduce you to webf applications with a good foundation, and because of that good foundation, finding a job was even easier than if I had went through a more narrowly-scoped bootcamp because it opened up far more doors than just working with C# and ASP.NET. I can't thank everyone here enough for the opportunity they've helped me create for myself, and look forward to seeing many others succeed in the same way.

The Tech Academy is a great boot camp for people wanting to get into the tech field. It teaches you all you need and more, as well as gives you real, hands-on experience of what it's like to work a tech job. The staff are phenomenal, and their job placement team works hard to ensure that you get a job. I can't say enough praise about this place. The only concern is that if you are not a person who is very self-motivated and able to stick to a schedule, this boot camp may be hard for you. As a remote student, I had to dedicate myself about ~8 hours every weekday, so it is a full-time job (if you go full-time). That being said, it is worth it.

I took TTA C# and .NET Framework boot camp. initially I had planned on taking it in person since I lived close to the Portland campus but COVID intervened and ended up taking the boot camp online. I had absolutely zero knowledge or prior experience in coding so I was pretty nervous going into the boot camp and concerned about my ability to retain what I was learning since I am really, a hands on type learner. The way the courses were set up, and with guidance and support from the instructors, I soon realized I had very little to worry about. The instructors had an abundance of patience and were able to find ways to explain tings in ways I could understand when I felt like I had hit a brick wall. If you want to learn to code...this is where you should go.

I attended TTA C# and .NET bootcamp in 2019. I was a total newbie to coding, looking to shift industries away from entertainment and into something with more stability. The education from TTA was great, very ground-up, introducing me first to overall concepts such as how to think about web development, and how to think about and tackle problems when I encounter them, which are skills and tactics that I use in my job today. Throughout the bootcamp, I learned fundamentals of every language, so when I completed the program and realized I didn't want to focus on C# for my career, I had the foundation necessary to shift directions and move into React development without much extra education, now that I had the foundation to learn from self-guided free courses. The job placement team continued to work with me and provide guidance as I tried to decide exactly which career path to pursue, and Forest was great at making recommendation for job search tactics to target the types of companies I was looking to work for. My only complaint is that I wish I could've more easily shifted directions in the middle of the bootcamp, but I didn't ask to do that, so I'm not sure what options would have been available to me if I had.

My name is Adeline. I took a chance with faith in signing up for the Tech Academy's Boot Camp. I walked in not knowing anything. All I knew was, I wanted to be a Programmer. The staff are so helpful, and so patient! Now all I can say is, I am glad I went with my gut feeling, because now I can call myself a Software Developer.

I recently graduated from the C#/.NET Framework boot camp at The Tech Academy. The curriculum is great, starting the student out with Computer & Technology basics course and moving into Software Development overview, Version Control, GitHub, HTML, JavaScript, SQL & Databases, Visual Studio and C#/.NET Framework. The courses work is done in a gradient manner starting off with the basics and moving into more challenging topics. The assignments and challenges test your knowledge and ability to take what you've learned and research to build on it to find the solutions. The final Live Project is an Excellent experience and introduction to working in a development environment. The instructors at The Tech Academy are always there to help and are very responsive. This is a self paced boot camp, and you need to be disciplined in order to keep up and stay on track. The school is very understanding if family emergencies arise as well. I came into this with a Technical background, but the way they lay out the courses, anyone technical or not can become software developer. Glad I picked The Tech Academy and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to change careers or further they're technical knowledge to make a move into another tech career as I've done.

This boot camp was great. Their website details what each boot camp entails, I personally graduate from the C# .Net framework courses, but they don't really explain the nuance of their services. You get more than just an understanding of code, you use applications that you wouldn't use on your own and are ubiquitous in the industry. Github is one of them. Their job placement course and staff that help you with the job search are worth the cost on their own. People charge a lot of money for the services that The Tech Academy helps you with, resume editing, interview practice, and helping make a great portfolio page. This boot camp doesn't just teach you code, it puts you into the position to get a job then you are done. I am very happy I went with The Tech Academy, they really do make you into an industry professional.

This bootcamp was an amazing experience for me! The course material is great! They can work you up from no knowledge to being able to land a junior dev job in short order. The online part-time option was great for me, as someone currently employed and father of two young children. I know a coworker that went through this program too and he also has young children. It is a rigorous curriculum and you will be challenged, but it is doable. I also want to mentioned how incredibly supportive and helpful the instructors are. They are responsive and always willing to help. They don’t just give you the answers either, they guide you to where you need to be to figure it out. Can’t say enough good things about this bootcamp! Best career decision I ever made in my life!

I was looking to refresh my skills as a developer and pick up a new tech stack in the process. After doing some research I finally settled on The Tech Academy's C# and .NET Developer Bootcamp. My experience with the program was great! Their program was extremely thorough, covering everything from the fundamentals of computer basics to HTML and CSS3 to JavaScript to C# and .NET. The program's self-paced nature matched exactly what I was looking for in a Bootcamp and fit well within my schedule. The instructors were extremely helpful throughout the program, always willing to help out when you need it, and always attentive to your needs. The curriculum will give you a firm foundation to build upon as you look to build your career in software development. The Live Project course was a terrific experience that gives you real-world experience in building software. Overall, I'd recommend The Tech Academy for anyone looking to start off their career in software development.

Six months ago I started out not knowing anything about code. Now I'm looking for a Software Development job fully confident in my skills and knowledge. They were very flexible when I got sick, and extremely supportive. They always let you know when new opportunities arise, and when insightful meetups are happening. After I land my tech job I plan to go back part time and take on another course in either cyber security or Game Developer which they just released.
