No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are state-of-the-art technological advancements that have assumed even greater significance in today's day and age.  The rate and scale of their deployment across industries for multiple use cases is accelerating at a tremendous pace and companies across the spectrum of industries have already started implementing AI-based solutions. However, we are still at a very nascent stage and there will be an explosion of specialized skills needed in this domain to enable this transformation in the near to mid term.After having spent over 30 years in sales and business development, I felt it was the right time for me to pivot my career in this domain to stay relevant for future employment/consulting opportunities. I was also aware of my lack of skill and interest in learning coding or programming, so I had to look for a program that would enable me to achieve the stated objective without the need to learn coding. I found the answer in the Online course, No-Code AI and Machine Learning-Building Data Science Solutions Program offered by MIT through Great Learning.   As one would expect from a world-class institution like MIT, the curriculum is extremely well structured with modules covering different topics spaced out over 6 months. An investment of 6-8 hours per week worked just fine. The video tutorials by highly esteemed MIT professors are well-articulated and in a manner that is easy to comprehend. However, basic knowledge of math and statistics will be even better. The MCQ format assessments at the end of each module reinforce the understanding of the concepts. There are plenty of case studies for each module that one can refer to at their leisure and the best part is the 2-hour live Mentored Learning Sessions every week. The Mentors are reputed Industry professionals with deep knowledge and experience in the domain of AI/ML. All these are further complemented by hands-on workshops on the no-code tools by mentors from Great Learning. I enjoyed working on the 3 Projects based on real-life problems, where we demonstrated our understanding of the problem, the methodologies to derive business insights and finally provide recommended solutions.  In summary, the entire course offered an extremely well-rounded understanding of the AI concepts, no-code ML tools used for analytics, and recommendations which I believe will be very valuable as we step into the world of AI.    Finally, I cannot thank enough the Great Learning Program team who made the entire learning experience so comfortable and seamless. I especially wish to call out Ruchika Jain, Program Manager for her prompt, enthusiastic, and efficient support in addressing the subject or platform-related queries and concerns throughout this journey. Great course available to those who have working schedules. The concepts were very much aligned with the direction of my career growth and changing trends in the industry. There were plenty of hands-on, real life case studies available for multiple platforms so students could choose which platform to work with. The mentored learning sessions were helpful in providing live instructors to walk through the concepts and answer questions. The program office team and program manager were helpful throughout the course with reminders and keeping the students on track with assignments and classes.

I was looking for a fundamental course about AI without coding but still allow me to understand fully about AI and also the process of building a product, and I came across the No Code AI course that Great Learning build with MIT. I believe I receive huge amount of support during the course, especially from the course manager, Ruchika. I had a few personal problems and wanted to postpone the course. But immediately she scheduled a call and talked to me, really help me find a way to continue. Really appreciate that. Also, for the content, of course, was really clear. Nittin was extremely patient and creative in explaining tho sometimes in class we had difficulty to understand the topics (most of us don't have any related background), he ensured that we were clear. Totally recommend if you want to start with AI in a deeper level. The course actually really helpful (for my case) when I need to analyze information at work.

Very interesting program with a lots of new things for me (0 computer programing experience). Probably its a best start for a professional reconversion. Very responsive staff and a present program manager who keep me connected with the program.

As Data Privacy expert, I wanted to see projects from the eyes of data engineers, so I would be able to better understand their struggles and assist them in most efficient way when working together. MIT AI No code made it possible for me. Although in some moments pretty theoretical and technical, it led me through the simplified process of working on business problems, showing me what are all aspects necessary to be taken into consideration in order to solve the puzzles put in front data engineers and data scientists. Course had great lecturers with extended experience in explaining difficult things in relatively simple way. Case studies were very useful as well as course materials. For the future courses recommendation is only that hands on lessons start earlier in the course, in smaller chunks, so the students have more time to work on developing  their skills, not feeling overwhelmed and for everything to soak in nicely.

I thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience. The program coordinator Kamakshi was very hands-on, caring and proactive with communication. I learned a great deal throughout the course and felt they were able to create an encouraging environment, despite being fully online!

The courses were laid out where it was easy to understand and you can learn at your own place. You’ll be assigned a program manager to help guide you through the entire course and answer any questions you may have. The weekly reviews provide additional insights on the learning material. Overall a great and enjoyable learning experience.

I joined this course when I came across it as an advertisement. The course sounded quick and the price was just right. Having absolutely no previous learning experience in the field, I still decided to give it a try. From the beginning the instructors and mentors were very thorough and explained everything extremely well. But since I had no prior knowledge or experience, when it was time to work on the projects, I started having a real tough time. I did not know how to download their files in the format they had sent and continuously kept getting errors. All my peers were people of knowledge and seemed very good at grasping the subject. I was embarrassed to ask for help thinking this should be stuff I should know after the classes. I tried watching videos and reading more and more but it wasn’t helping. That’s when I mustered up the courage and contacted the program office. Priyanka was God sent. She reassured me multiple times, would ask me how I was in between , always checking on me if I needed more help and basically the one person who made sure I don’t quit and continue and try my best to what I had committed to. I am happy and proud to report that I was successfully able to submit my projects, and complete all the assessments. I am thankful to Priyanka and all the mentors for their time, determination and their believe in me and others. They really make a great team and I am so happy I chose to do the No Code AI and ML. My successful completion has motivated me to do the next course and polish up my skills and knowledge. Great Learning employs 'Dark patterns' tactics on its online platform to manipulate consumers. These patterns include creating a false sense of urgency, nagging and shaming, filling out detailed application forms to signify exclusivity in admissions, cancellation fees if you find the course worthless.
The courses are pre-recorded and can be played anytime with no intervention from the faculty, even though the course starts a few months from today the website will tell you that the last day of registration if 4 days from the current date, the company employs so called “industry experts” to guide you in sessions each week and the quality of these experts is not guaranteed and they are in no way related to the prestigious Ivy league institutions from which these courses are said to have been created by, exorbitant cancellation fees and no-refunds if you find the courses sub-par or useless, they will call your phone number incessantly at all times of day with no sense of time from India, if you ask them too many questions they will cancel your application and deem you as “unworthy” to pursue the self-proclaimed excellent course they have created.

Useful course, I found good all the points of view, as teachers, lessons, material, schedule, etc.Really helpful for machine learning and make faster the modeling. It helps me a lot with all my daily processes and let me improve new ones.

I found the MIT-GE No-vode AI/ML course to be very valuable. The course covered the  Foundational Data Science concepts, methods and focused Data Analysis. The assignments with (No coding required) was helpful to understand key model design/building steps and parameter tunning to improve Accuracy, Precision and Recall of an educational ML Model's training and performance testing. The Al/ML lectures, online courses vide  lectures, hands-on exercises using RapidMiner, data analysis tools was very insightful. In a nutshell, this was a great learning experience for me.  I recommend it to others that want to learn Data Science, big data analytics, AI/ML model development and tunning without doing coding
