Graduate 2023
I joined Coder Foundry for their March 2023 cohort as I was specifically looking for a course that would help me build a portfolio of work using Microsoft's .NET framework that would leave a great impression with potential employers, and one that had a dedicated job assistance program that would guide you through to breaking into the industry with your new found experience. Through my research, I found that Coder Foundry was the best choice for me, as they were one of the best reviewed bootcamps teaching the tech stack I wanted to learn the most. I chose to take part in the 3 month Intensive Virtual Full Stack Development course because I knew I would get the most out of having a structured learning schedule, along with the direct guidance and help from the course's amazing instructors, Jacob and Antonio.Through the 12 week course, I was able to create a portfolio site along with 6 frontend web applications and 3 full stack web applications that would become the basis of my body of work. The guidance and experience of the instructors were second to none, and with their help I was able to learn concepts much quicker and with a much deeper understanding than I would have on my own. This is not to say that everything was a cake walk. The hours and dedication necessary to achieve in this course goes beyond what is spent during class time, and it will take considerable work to be successful, even with the help of the instructors. But for those that are willing to put in that work, the outcome is well worth it. The skills you will learn here are not just applicable to the tech stack that is taught at Coder Foundry, as you will gain the confidence and tools necessary to learn, and gain more skills beyond what you learnt during the course. After completing the course I worked with Kelly, who spearheads the job assistance program. She is wonderful to work with and will never let you believe that you cannot be successful in this industry. With her help I was able to improve my online profile considerably and advertise to potential employers that I am a legitimate software developers with the knowledge and skills to show for it. You will be so thankful to have her on your side as she instills great confidence in you with her attitude and dedication to helping Coder Foundry alumni. I was able to apply to a vastly greater number of jobs due to the sheer quantity of opportunities she was sharing with me daily, as well as the considerable amount of outreach to recruiters she did on my behalf.I can easily say that without the help and guidance of everyone at Coder Foundry, I would not be where am I today.
Graduate 2023
After a lot of research, I decided to apply for Coder Foundry and fortunately was accepted into the live instructor-led class. I definitely do not regret this decision. Jacob and Antonio were some of the best instructors I have had to date even after completion of my bachelor's degree. I can confidently say that Coder Foundry was THE reason I was offered a job. As Antonio said, the hardest part is the job application process. It took 5 months until I landed a role and during that time, I would be lying if I didn’t feel discouraged at times with countless rejection emails or no response at all. Don’t let that stop you from applying. It only takes one yes! I also would like to thank Kelly Davis for her help in remaining dedicated to forwarding all available opportunities that were to my preferences.
I would recommend this program to anyone who is ready to put in the work and can remain dedicated to the process, both during class and afterward during the job hunt.

I have first-hand seen Coder Foundry transform people's careers! I have met a handful of Coder Foundry graduates in-person who now work as junior and mid-level developers. I therefore became convinced that I could pursue software engineering as well, and gain strong training through CF to help me in my first developer role. I was blown away by the quality of this program and the down-to-earth attitudes of the team. I now have a modern, online portfolio, multiple sessions of interview prep with a revised resume and Linkedin portfolio, and even a recruiter to advocate for me and aid me in my career placement journey. I recommend this bootcamp to anyone who is willing and excited to dive into working with professionals, as almost an apprentice, asking questions at all times, as the teachers Jacob and Antonio are readily available. This bootcamp starts from the very basics, the foundation of great, manageable code. So do not shy away from it if you feel like you lack knowledge. The team will set you up with what you need to know to be a great, and most importantly, hirable, Junior Developer.

Coder Foundry is a great way to establish your foundation in your skill set and be prepared for a role as a developer. The instructors, Antonio and Jacob, are both very knowledgeable and ready and willing to help you if you're ready to put in the work. It's not easy in that it is A LOT of work. You are going to get stuck/lost. You're going to spend more time than you maybe thought going in on the projects. With all that, it is very much doable. And the support Kelly provides in your job search after completion of the course is A-1!! She will help you with your search, then there is also interview prep if you need it (you will!) If you're reading this you're considering it. Do it, you'll be glad you did!
Graduate 2023
I was taught valuable coding languages and coding strategies by great teachers and my skills got me hired. Great place! Great support after graduating to help you find a job. I was hired within 3 months of graduating.

I conducted extensive research across various platforms, including Course Report, to find the perfect course for my needs. After careful consideration, I chose Coder Foundry for several compelling reasons. Since I couldn't attend an in-person program, I sought a course that offered a favorable teacher-to-student ratio, a well-structured plan and curriculum to enhance skills and build a portfolio that effectively showcased my abilities. Additionally, it was important to me that the instructors remained consistent throughout the entire cohort, rather than changing with each new section. Essentially, I desired a personalized experience that could closely replicate in-person learning.Coder Foundry met all of these criteria. The class size averaged around 15 students, allowing for plenty of interaction with the two full-time instructors. They continually updated the curriculum based on valuable feedback from recruiters and hiring managers, ensuring its relevance and alignment with industry needs. The course progression commenced with building a portfolio as the foundation for establishing an online presence, followed by tackling various Javascript challenges commonly encountered during interviews to enhance programming language proficiency. Finally, the course delved into constructing at least three Full-stack .NET applications. Throughout the journey, the unwavering guidance and support from Antonio, Jacob, and Bobby proved invaluable in honing my skills within a mere 12-week timeframe. Thanks to the exceptional staff at Coder Foundry and the rambunctious group that was the Astra Cohort, I had a remarkable experience that truly simulated an in-person learning environment to the greatest extent possible. As a result, I wholeheartedly recommend this program.

The virtual class was well-organized and the curriculum was thoughtfully designed to cover all the necessary topics and skills needed to become a proficient coder. The course materials were comprehensive and the instructors were knowledgeable and engaging. They were always available to answer any questions and provide feedback on assignments. What really stood out to me was the emphasis on hands-on learning. The course included numerous coding challenges and real-world projects that allowed me to apply what I had learned in a practical setting. The class also provided ample opportunities for collaboration and networking with other students, which was incredibly valuable.
Graduate 2023
As someone who came into the bootcamp with zero coding experience I can tell you that this bootcamp is HARD! But the staff at CF know what it takes to break into this field and how to teach someone to code. Highly recommend if you need to make a career change like I did!
Graduate 2022
I am someone with a computer science degree and I am also that someone that has taken a bunch of Udemy course. So, I have had experience with lots of instructors and how they teach development. That being said, nothing comes close to what coder foundry has given to me. The instructors are really patient with you, it doesn't matter how many times you ask a question, they always have a smile on their face and they make sure that NO ONE is left behind. I had always struggled with building full stack applications because there's a lot that goes into it. Coder Foundry covers every tiny aspect about it, you will learn about front-end, back-end, database, and even deploying your applications. In all, it's a very very positive learning environment. There's only one regret that I have and that's not enrolling with them sooner, I could have developed my skills so much if I started early. I can't recommend them enough, their course and guidance is worth every penny. (Way better than my 6 years of time and money spent in school).Additionally, they stay connected with you even after you graduate. They are constantly putting job applications, checking on with everyone to see if they are doing okay. I have experienced 10/10 support from them even after graduation from their bootcamp. Super genuine staff who genuinely wants to see their students succeed.

My experience at Coder Foundry was excellent. For some context, I'm a person that learned PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, Node, and MySQL on my own but was never confident that I was doing things properly let alone good enough to get a job. I went down a rabbit hole of calling and gathering information about every BootCamp I could and CF ultimately took the crown. The transparency of Bobby and Kevin on YouTube was a major part of my decision and the commitment Kelly had to follow up with me sealed the deal. They were the only BootCamp that would provide a strict syllabus that defined the exact technologies being taught. The price for CF is steep but extremely fair when you look at the pricing of other boot camps, boot camps that won't even tell you the exact technologies you'll be learning. Since I had a passion for the craft I thought it was a good investment, I paid upfront. In the first couple of weeks, we went over HTML, CSS, JS, Git, and Bootstrap and it was painful, for ME. It was painful because there were students that didn't do a lick of programming in their life and really had to be taught the basics of basic. It blew my mind that someone was willing to shell out that amount of money into the program when they didn't even know if they enjoyed programming. That aside, Bobby, the owner, did an excellent job teaching them and I did learn some things or two. After the basics, we moved on to C#, again some struggles with students without any prior knowledge but Antonio is a beast and did an excellent job breaking everything down. Every project is independent (as it should be) and if you have any issues you can ask other students or Antonio. We completed 3 enterprise-level C# ASP.NET MVC apps, all with authentication, authorization, database, CRUD, email, and file service. The first application is a lot of hand-holding, and the 2 others are more on your own until you have issues and you can ask away. I finished the BootCamp on the 23rd of September and signed my offer letter with a local company as a Software Developer the following Tuesday. I still use code that I wrote in class in the applications I build today.

This bootcamp has taught me so much it is hard to put into words. In the past 3 months I've went from not being able to make my web page say "Hello World" to being able to build complex MVC projects. When I first did my interview with Bobby about the class, I knew it was the right place for me. He is so kind and truly makes you feel like you have known him for years. The instructors are great. Antonio and Jacob are like a walking book of knowledge, and they were there to help me whenever I needed. Kelly is absolutely amazing also! Every time I needed something about my job search or questions about the class, she was just an email way and responded very quickly. I'm actually telling my friends to change their career and join this class so If you're reading this, I would highly suggest you doing so! There is not one bad thing I could say about this Bootcamp!

Absolutely the right decision, and worth every penny. A challenging but highly rewarding learning environment staffed by people who genuinely care and want you to succeed. In about three months I went from very little coding experience to a great career as a developer—I accepted the offer before I finished! The instructors have tested real-world experience that they pull from to help you learn the right way by building projects and marketing yourself.

I decided I needed a change when looking for another job in the service industry. But one thing became clear to me with every phone call and interview. I was tired of working in bars and nightclubs. A friend of mine, who was a previous graduate of CF, told me I could give it a shot if I wanted a career change. From the very first email, I could feel things shifting for me. I was still working in a bar throughout the course. My 3rd shift job made it possible, but not easy to attend class during the day. Every week at CF felt like a leg in a marathon. You push through and learn as much as you can. The teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and there even if you hit them up with a question at 11 pm (which I did on a few occasions). I learned so much in such a short amount of time that it surprised everyone in my life when I sent them links to the sites that I had designed and built. I just got my first job as a web developer and I can't thank everyone for their hard work and dedication. From the first day of class until I received an offer they have been there to help and guide me every step of the way. I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Who is this program for? Someone who can dedicate 50-60 hours/wk for 12 weeks of immersive, intensive full stack training AND is serious about getting a job in web/software development. Tell your family/friends that this program is your number 1 priority for the duration. It is 8 hours/day of live interactive learning. I went into the program unsure if a virtual program would be as useful as an in-person experience, but CF did not disappoint. The instructors not only teach but are active developers which means they are current on industry trends and issues. I asked as many questions as I needed within the lectures and received help whenever I needed it. Bobby teaches the first 3 weeks of the class, covering frontend HTML, CSS JavaScript and Bootstrap5. There is a heavy emphasis on Bootstrap(which I think is practical) and responsive design. We spent only a week or so on JS before heading off into C# and other backend technologies. Before starting this program, I would recommend you use free online resources to familiarize yourself with JS. I wish I had a little more background in JS--it would have made that week easier. Backend (ASP.NET, C#, Sql, API etc) is taught by Antonio and Jason. You do not code your own projects, but work as a group coding pre-determined full stack projects(for us, the Address book, Blog and Bug Tracker) that encompass all the primary skills needed to demonstrate to potential employers. While I understand this approach, I wish we had the opportunity during the cohort to code one or more of our own features. After graduation, the job placement services were fantastic. Kelly presents both curated postings from various job sites and opportunities coming directly from employers recruiting CF grads. She posts to the alumni channel as well as messaging grads directly if she feels an opportunity would be of particular interest. She was instrumental in my job search with advice and leads. She directed me to my current position. CF is well worth the investment--both in time and money. My career has a solid foundation now.

I had knowledge of basics in Html and C# going into the class. This knowledge was greatly expanded during the class. This is not a normal 9-5 class. For several weeks hard work and dedication to keep up with the projects and the rest of the class paid off. I interviewed and landed a job before the class was over. The skills I learned there allowed me to get into the field and I felt the interview prepping and assistance on presentation were also helpful. I felt like the instructors cared and wanted you to succeed.

Coder Foundry's bootcamp is excellent. I learned a ton about web development in their course. It was quite challenging at times but very worth it.

This is a great boot camp. I had previous development experience. In 12 weeks I've grown immensely as a developer. From the onset, the instructors are very all senior-level developers with years of experience. I loved building the real-life projects that we build in the boot camp. The instructors teach you to leverage your projects in interviews. If you want to become a .net full stack developer. This is the boot camp that you need. I got a job under a week after completing the boot camp.
Student 2021
I was a complete coding newbie and the immersive learning style really helped me learn. The 12 weeks were very difficult, but very worth it. The variety they taught felt overwhelming at the time, but looking at the job descriptions, I see they provided us with the well-rounded skills hiring people are looking for. And due to the reputation Coder Foundry has, I feel more hiring managers are contacting me on LinkedIn which is increasing my job opportunities.
