The mentors do a fantastic job of demystifying the "black box" of machine learning, making it feel like a tool anyone can master.Most importantly, the course maintains a relentless focus on Business Applications. It isn't just about writing scripts; it's about solving real-world problems. This focus allowed me to implement new skills in my career immediately, even while the course was still in progress. This format really helps solidify concepts and makes the learning journey engaging and effective. It’s a key differentiator that sets this course apart from many others.
In terms of support, the Great Learning team is exceptional. They are always attentive, quick to help, and flexible whenever you need extra time or assistance. This level of personalized attention makes a big difference and justifies the premium pricing, creating a warm and supportive learning environment.
As an honest piece of feedback, there are a couple of areas that could be refined. For instance, while most modules use the short-video format effectively, some modules still have longer videos that could be broken down further to maintain the same dynamic flow. Shorter segments with quick questions in between are incredibly effective, and applying this approach more consistently would make the experience even better.
In addition, while I personally found the hands-on projects to be the highlight of the course—allowing me to explore data and build models in a deeply satisfying way—I did notice that some projects had more rigid guidelines that limited a bit of creative freedom. It might be nice to balance structure with a bit more flexibility in those assignments.
Overall, I highly recommend the program. It’s a top-notch experience with a strong support system and a teaching approach that truly helps students learn. With a few minor tweaks, it could be even better, but it’s already an excellent choice for anyone serious about data science and machine learning.

I did the DATA SCIENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING course for 12 weeks. I was really surprised with all the material we covered in that amount of time. The Great Learning staff and course material were excellent.

This comprehensive program covers the entire data science pathway, from foundational theory to advanced deep learning models, and everything in between. The balance between technical depth and accessible breakdowns makes it perfect for both beginners and those with prior experience. I particularly enjoyed the emphasis on hands-on projects with real-world scenarios, which reinforced concepts in a practical manner. For participants less comfortable with coding, the business-leader track offers a lighter pathway by focusing on interpreting results and presenting business insights, though I recommend trying the full-code submissions since Python is surprisingly intuitive and the labs are structured for learning by doing. The scope of projects was amazing: detecting celestial objects, exploring computer vision, segmenting retail customers with clustering, predicting attrition for an EdTech company, and building recommendation systems from Amazon product reviews. Overall, the course was great in content, design, and applicability. My only caution is that the regression and prediction module felt particularly intense, so pacing yourself is key.

The 12 weeks over which we did the course have made me gain a wealth of knowledge that I have already started to apply at work thanks alot to all the faculty that led the program and the excellent program supervisors who are very helpful. Keep up the great work.

I really love this program, before the start of the management kept calling me giving me the very support I need to learn and understand the program better and even after registering they were still contacting me making sure everything is doing great during program and whenever I have questions they reply the same day. That's just the management, the instructions, courses and assignment are super great.

Curriculum: I found that it offered a comprehensive coverage of Python, statistics, regression, classification, hypothesis testing, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, recommendation systems, unstructured data analysis and causal inference. Each topic was reinforced with quizzes, projects and an end-of-course hackathon. Instructors & Mentors: Our lecturers were MIT professors who provided a strong theoretical base, while the industry mentors and tutors helped us build on this knowledge and pairing this with practical insights into their application in sectors like banking, retail, e-commerce, and healthcare. 
Learning Experience: The course was delivered through on an online platform where our learning was supported with videos, readings, AI tools and discussion forums. Weekly mentorship sessions were interactive and application-focused giving us insights into industry best practices. Job Support: The course offers post-graduation access to the learning platform, interview coaching, as well as a global alumni network to support my career growth. Overall Impression: This is an intensive, high-value program that combines world-class instruction with hands-on application. It’s ideal for professionals looking to transition into or advance within data science and machine learning. I think that personal commitment, discipline and motivation/passion are the key to getting the most from it. I really enjoyed the program and what it did for me!

This program was a great introduction to real-world data science and machine learning. The lessons were well-structured, the instructors explained complex topics clearly, and the hands-on coding exercises really helped reinforce the material. While it could go deeper into advanced topics and lacks live mentorship, the flexibility and MIT brand make it a strong choice for students and early-career professionals.

It genuinely kept me on my toes, constantly diving into complex topics that often had me scrambling for answers and, well, asking a lot of questions here! From wrestling with messy datasets to finally making sense of intricate model outputs, every module was a real brain-teaser. While it definitely pushed my limits, the hands-on approach truly solidified my understanding. I'm walking away with a much deeper, practical grasp of data science principles. It's tough, but incredibly rewarding – definitely recommend it for anyone serious about the field!

The availability of course materials for three years is a valuable resource for revisiting advanced concepts. Each module ended with a quiz and practical project that reinforced the learnings.In a compressed 8–10 week format (covering material equivalent to 1–2 years), I completed at least three impactful projects, including customer segmentation, classification modeling, and recommendation systems, each applying real-world data for data-driven decision making.This program not only deepened my knowledge but also enhanced my practical expertise in data science tools and techniques. I highly recommend it to professionals looking to bridge the gap between theory and practice in a short, intensive format.
