This is a review of Code Nation in Manchester, UKAs an ex-Code Nation student I am speaking to anyone reading this who is considering going here...... please re-think your decision ! Having attended their 12 week Master Coding course this brief review is based upon my experience.Actually having read the reviews here I can totally agree with them, could have written them myself though I didn't. if only I had read some of these before I attended I could have saved myself money and time. The 'About' section above written by Code Nation talks of the business they work with to hire the graduates. Impressed by that ? Don't be. Code Nations post on Linkedin sometime 2021 was trying to sell their ex-students (like me) to businesess to hire them, but their post indicated they had over 200 students seeking a job. Over 200 !! Would you consider that a great bootcamp to go to if your chance to receive help to get a job afterwards is almost zero ?? If you'd completed the bootcamp and were seeking a job, how often would you expect Code Nation staff to contact you and check-up on how things are going ? You'll probably say once a month perhaps ? How about Never. Yep you read that right, once you're finished they have your money and they no longer care.. Bye bye student who paid our bills. There are other coding bootcamps in Manchester available if that's your thing but if you go to Code Nation, you were warned.

All their postitve reviews are not true! They promised that everyone will become a fully stacked developer with a great career prospect but the hand cherry pick certain people to get in with a company if you were lucky. The whole system and course was a complete utter joke, the teaching was really awful cause the staff didn't know what they were teaching even when paying £6000 and hearing the course lectures about them take a gamble paying £6000 which is a complete utter lie too cause out of 10 to 20 people on the course and only a few get in as an apprentice on a low wage for a year, the others that didn't get pick and has lost out on £6000 when they saved up and quit there jobs to be on this course while the staff didn't give any advise where to go after we practically payed for their wages while we're left without! If anyone does even consider paying £6000 for this course with CodeNation I would totally AVOID!!! and go with NorthCoders they have a better system.

Absolute scam!! They promise you'll be a full stack developer after 3 months but instead you'll be an apprentice on 17k a year! From my course of 20 people only 1 person was directly hired into a company, the rest were forced down the route of an apprenticeship if they were lucky. The teaching was so bad that even after paying the £6,000 fee people were still paying for courses on Udemy to teach themselves. If you are considering paying the £6,000 and going to Code Nation, go to NorthCoders instead!! AVOID!!!
