I enrolled in Careerist School on a friend's recommendation. She had recently completed their Manual Tester course, landed a job, and then decided to upskill with their Automation Tester course, which also led to quick employment. I've never regretted joining this school. Careerist is a great place to learn and get trained for job. They provide you a structured simple way of learning, a real time work environment, instant issue resolving team in case of issues faced. They assign you with a mentor. My mentor was Viktor Tsoy. He guided me from interview prep and several tips to get more interviews. I am from Canada and it took one year for me to land in a job. In my one year of association with Viktor, he guided me so well and developed so much patience in me to deal with declines from companies and kept me motivated throughout. His motivation and tips helped me so much to land in a job. We felt so happy after me landing in the job. I definitely recommend careerist as they promise what they say. Careerist also gives you a benefit of huge community of contacts.

The course of learning the technical part of being a manual QA technician, careerist gets 5 stars but who can't write a 5 star course of information in a powerpoint presentation.  Today it is all about the hands on work which is where things got dicey.  The internal internship was great! My team lead was very informative and completed his part of reviewing and giving feedback in a timely manner.  However when it came to the external internship which I believe is the one that counted the most, my team lead dropped the ball all together.  I am currently at the end of the intern and I have completed all five task that were assigned to me and have not received not one review or feedback on any of the work that I have completed.   Then when I reach out to the internship group as well as my team lead I feel as I was brushed off.  I get a message from the intern group saying they will reach out to the team lead and I get a message from my team lead that says "It was a technical error and that I have passed the internship". But me being the technical person I am I went back to look at my task again and woooooow they are still sitting waiting to be reviews with no feedback at all not even a great job.  So did I really pass?  Horrible experience at this point especially for that amount of money spent.  Maybe I'm a one off but if I could do the whole process over I definitely would not.  I don't even care to finish at this point just take my money as a loss an walk away.

I completed the manual testing program and was very satisfied. Careerist has a convenient platform for classes, and managers promptly answered any questions I had. Overall, I had few questions about the program because it is structured in a way that everything becomes clear during the lecture. There are also free additional lessons if you want to delve deeper into a particular topic. I also like that there are tests and summaries available for use.

As someone who came from learning to code prior, I found Careerist advertised to me as I was curious about QA in software engineering. I'm honestly glad I chose Careerist and this course as I realized that this is what I want to do for work and I loved learning about how QA works and kind of the behind the scenes of how apps and programs get released and created. There is so much that goes into QA engineering and I really enjoyed learning from the instructors and getting the help when I needed it. Having the classes scheduled each week was best for my learning style and helped with accountability to keep studying and getting homework done. If you are interested in coding and learning about software QA, I would recommend this course. You even get help with LinkedIn, resume prep, and interview prep as well.

I am enjoying the Careerist Bootcamp; I completed the Manual QA course and began with Automation Training. However, you also need to do self-learning and keep up with the determination I am currently still learning, I have completed an ISTQB certification, which can make me stand out as well. Furthermore, the Internship gave me a bit of confidence in handling tight deadlines. Instructors are helpful, and customer service is top-tier.  Note: you need to do extra work while learning, they have enough information to get you a job. 

I just finished a QA Manual Internship, and it was fantastic. We got hands-on experience with real projects, and the mentors were super helpful. I learned a lot about manual testing, and it's a perfect start for anyone wanting to get into quality assurance.

Yesterday I signed a contract! A small tech company hired me!!! I spent 4 months looking for a job. I managed to find a job using the Job Application Service by Careerist. I completed a test task and passed an interview. I’m so happy!

The course was very helpful as well as all of the instructors involved. Clear instructions were given, tests, and quizzes helped to retain the information. The intership portion of the program really helped my growth and skills as a Manual QA. I’m looking forward to the job search and starting my career as a Manual QA.

I am at the end of my Manual Qa course, but I can't wait to start my QA Automation course next. I have just finished the first internship. I have not yet gone through the real internship, the mentorship or the the job searching tool, that is why this is a WIP reviewLike any other course, whether it is online or in an university, this bootcamp have really good teachers that really know what they are talking about and are able to answer to random questions or give real life examples as well as simplified examples and also have teachers that they may be really good at their jobs, but they are not really good at teaching, some of them just read the slides and may have some difficulty trying to explain some concepts that may be obvious to a professional, but not so much to a beginner.The first internship was really good, I was lucky to have the lead that I got, she was able to explain all the steps needed during the assignments of the tasks. This was definitely necessary to review some of the concepts that were not super clear to some of my classmates.I am currently doing the second internship I look forward to meet with the mentors and to start using the job searching tool.
