Amazing BootCamp

I want to give a big shoutout to CodingNomads for being the game-changer in my career. Thanks to them, I landed my dream job at SEGA as a Java developer, and the journey has been nothing short of amazing.CodingNomads has a top-notch program that's super well-structured. I dove into Java technology, and they covered it comprehensively. From the basics to the nitty-gritty, they left no stone unturned. But that's not all - they also equipped me with Spring and AWS knowledge, which is gold in the tech world. The mentors are amazing and a special shoutout to Jared. They are experts in their fields and fantastic educators, making complex stuff feel like a breeze. The hands-on experience was the real deal. Real-world projects gave me the confidence to apply what I'd learned in the job market. One of the thing that set CodingNomads apart is their job preparation support. They went above and beyond, helping me polish my resume, prep for interviews, and navigate the job search. They genuinely care about your success. Now, I'm living the dream at SEGA, and it wouldn't have been possible without CodingNomads. If you're thinking about a coding bootcamp, seriously consider these folks. It's been a life-changing experience for me, and I can't thank them enough.

Rebuilt my Bubble app from the scratch in Java

During the pandemic I started learning some MATLAB so I could try building my own tools. It became a minor obsession. I was listening to podcasts about it, taking classes, watching videos, and staying up way too late. Last November I subbed for a guy at a theater who was leaving to take a coding bootcamp. I was like, wait, a what camp? You mean I can learn how to do this coding thing for real?Last week I launched my app, built from the ground up in Java and Spring, with the things I learned from Coding Nomads. Feels great!Coding Nomads has been great. I liked it so much that I started their Javascript course recently. Here's what the founder said about my capstone project: "Your capstone is among the best we've ever seen here at CodingNomads and we've worked with hundreds of students. So, job well done!"My intention is not to leave pro audio, but I do see software development as my next career act. Ideally, I'd like to keep building Tracebook and SubAligner, while doing freelance development work for manufacturers, AV companies, and the live event industry.I want to say a huge thank you to my wife, Elis, who is/was patient with my new obsession and all of the friends who I haven't reached out to a while. Thanks for your support! ❤️

Mentorship Is Top Notch!

I did a lot of research before choosing CodingNomads, and I'm so glad that I ended up choosing them! I didn't know anything about Java when I signed up. The curriculum is laid out very well and the videos are very helpful. The best thing though is the 1 on 1 mentorship that you get. It's supposed to be once a week but they are always more than willing to meet up more or even just a quick call to help you get through any issues you may be stuck on. Also the CodingNomads community is super nice and they are always willing to help. Honestly anyone can google and youtube their way to learning a new language, so for these bootcamps, it's really the mentoring that separates them. I've talked to a few people from other bootcamps and they said that they didn't get much attention from the teachers/mentors and if you have questions they make you feel like you're bothering them. And I know the cost of some of those bootcamps is at least double the cost of CodingNomads. On top of the top quality mentoring you get here, towards the end of your curriculum you get help with getting ready to look for a job. They help set up your resume, LinkedIn profile, gitHub, etc. They really do want you to succeed and want you to land that first job. In fact I received a job offer before even fully completing the program! I know that might be rare but I think it says something about the program and I actually do know of at least one other person that got a job offer before graduating as well. If I ever decide to learn a new language, it'll be through CodingNomads!

More than your standard bootcamp!

I write this after having accepted a job offer, shortly after graduating! CodingNomads Java Career Track has allowed me to switch careers in an enjoyable and challenging way. CodingNomads bootcamp is so much more than the standard bootcamp each student is known personally to the CN leaders and through the mentored programme there is an opportunity to get help on issues (support through the week as well as during 1:1), talk about the industry as well as forum to discuss and plan capstone project. The courses cover all the key topics (video and text based with exercises throughout), which prepared me well for interview. There is also a careers service also, for final prep and polish of the CV. Couldn’t have been happier with the course and delighted to have been finally able to make the switch. Thank you CodingNomads.

The best decision (careerwise) I've ever made!

Amazing support, value, and content.  It was an amazing group of people to work with, and helped me land my first Software Development job after ~6 months!  Can't recommend them enough.
