IOS Developer Bootcamp

Signing up for Stateful Academy and graduating has been one of the best decisions of my life. As one of my good friends during the course said, "Stateful doesn't just teach people what to think, but HOW to think." No matter what challenges you may face (and you will face many), Stateful's leadership and alumni are always there to help you get through them. In addition, Stateful won't just teach you how to code, but also simulate a work environment to simultaneously prepare you for your future job as well as many more skills and external resources to prepare you even further! As of writing this review I am on my job hunt and I have been shocked reading most of these job postings that are asking for experience in external resources that I now, in fact, do have experience in. You will not regret signing up for this course as you will not only fulfill your goal of becoming an iOS Developer, but you will also become a part of a community of like-minded individuals that will become life-long connections for you in the future.

I was supper hesitant to start this course because quitting job, not working for 5 months and learning something completely new was a very intimidating idea. I took a step of faith hopping that everything would work and that this wouldn't be a waist of time/money, and I am so glad I did! The course is worth it 100% if that is the question, and if you are willing to work you will learn iOS Development no doubt. I never thought I could learn so much so fast, and if you put the work you will learn. Around 3 weeks ago I graduated with an App published to the apple store, and multiple smaller apps to my portfolio!! The school also connected me and the whole cohort with a company that hired us for an internship right after graduation, which is helping a lot with getting experience. It has 3 weeks after graduation, and yesterday I started my first paid job!! I am so happy to be starting my new career, and hope this helps anyone thinking about Joining Stateful for any of their programs, if you are willing to work hard for these 4-5 months you will become a programer, no doubt!

This was one of the most challenging things that I have ever done. However, I have been wanting to push my way into the tech field for a long time and I know the opportunities and freedoms that software engineering and development can offer. So it was definitely worth the struggle. The instructors and community that Stateful has cultivated are supportive and amazing. I definitely recommend not working during the bootcamp so you can focus all of your time and attention to learning and growing. It is possible to work but does make things much more challenging. 

I have attended Stateful Academy's iOS Developer Bootcamp and was extremely pleased. In a short time I have gone from having no coding knowledge, to being able to create fully functional iOS apps and have them approved to the App Store.Throughout my stay, the instructors and subject matters experts were available and provided support, near all hours of day. They also excelled at teaching me in formats that matched my personal learning style. I am very satisfied with the course contents and curriculum. Stateful Academy has covered all grounds and more, in order to arm me with knowledge, networking and opportunity to start a rewarding career in software development. I will definitely be recommending them to family, friends, and anybody who asks! 

I really enjoyed my time with Stateful. As I’m writing this, I’m in my last week of a 16 week iOS Boot Camp. It has been challenging to say the least. That being said, the instructors are beyond helpful and extremely knowledgeable about what they’re teaching. Aside from a thorough understanding of the swift programming language, Stateful also comes with an extremely supportive discord group, full of developers, that in our final weeks have been extremely helpful in terms of establishing relationships with companies looking to hire new developers. This is not just another coding Boot Camp, it’s the whole package if you’re looking to get into the mobile software development field.

They teach you the solid fundamentals you need to succeed. What sold me on stateful was the interactive, live,  lectures. Being able to go through these lectures and have questions answered immediately during the lecture in a personalized manner was huge for me. They also provide personalized support while you're working on projects during work hours. Sometimes after hours too. Even during late-night coding sessions, I was able to get support from Instructors or their Developers/Alumni network. They make sure that you are taken care of and, that you get the support you need to be successful on your journey. I'm currently in my last few weeks of the Bootcamp and will begin my job search shortly which Stateful has been done a lot to help us prepare for! We've had Mock Interviews with iOS Devs (Mine worked for Nike), reviewed our resumes, and even learned how to connect on LinkedIn.I would recommend this Bootcamp to anyone considering taking this path, it has been a great experience, and it's because of the fantastic people here at Stateful.
