Immersive Cohort Bootcamp (Online - Full-time)

If you want to transition your career to a tech career, this is really a good bootcamp for you as they provide a lot of project for you to practice your coding skills in such a short amount of time.

The course was well planned, instructors taught with precision and knowledge. Questions and support were answered very well. Assignments and course material helped in further explaining and teaching the subjects. 

I just joined Sigma schools full stack software development bootcamp a few days ago. Overall it has been a great experience so far! The instructors do a good job in simplifying technical terminology so that it's easy for people who have no prior experience/knowledge in coding to understand. The curriculum is structured neatly with lots of practical hands on coding for you to put into practice what you learned from the classes. As it is a bootcamp, it is fast paced and requires you to try and figure out problems on your own first before seeking assistance. That is to be expected considering you'll learn everything from the fundamentals to front-end, back-end, & full stack in just 12weeks. 

I'm new to coding, first I felt that IT is much more difficult than what I thing before I start my learning. But after joining Sigma Schools, all the resources  they provided, instructor, class and learning material makes me feel that coding is not really that hard as I think. People are very helpful to each other to learn and improve together.

The full-time bootcamp course is 4-months-long with a different module being taught every month. Each module is compact with basic need-to-know topics & lessons, so you'll have to do some self-study if you want to know more about a particular topic/lesson. Classes are fairly engaging and students are encouraged to participate in the coding challenges and/or code-along exercises to further your own understanding of each lesson. I enjoy being able to apply the knowledge that I'd gained during lessons in a practical hands-on manner. The instructors and my peers are a great source of help and knowledge during and after class.

As I am writing this review, I am 3 months into the bootcamp. Even prior to completion of the whole bootcamp I am already able to create a web app from scratch on my own. Sigma School's learning module are compact, they may not cover everything but they covered enough. Whether you're looking to pivot your career or just simply upskill, definitely check out Sigma School.

No, this is not endorsed or a paid review. No, I was not pressured into writing this. And, no. I had no diploma or degree to begin with. What I wrote here is as honest as I could be.I enrolled in their course as a full-time student back in January with a focus in their Complete Software Development Programme (CSDP) curriculum. If you have no experiences in bootcamps, one way I can describe is that it's an accelerated learning journey.You will need to carry your own weight throughout this course. I am not kidding that I had to code 5-6 hours after the class ends so I can catch up to the upcoming lessons. But along the way, it taught me how it's like to be a software developer --  You will struggle (that's a given in this industry) and you will feel lost. But along the way you will pick up the skills required to debug and resolve errors on your own.I am giving this review 5 stars because it helped me achieve what I wanted -- getting that software dev job which is the point of this bootcamp. I have no tertiary education background at all and I wanted to get a job in a field where the norm is having a computer science degree or an IT programmer diploma. The project-based lessons provided had helped me become better equipped to enter this industry and I can't wait to start my next chapter in my career.Shoutout to my instructor MJ for being able to always answer my questions. Even though I am an online student of the bootcamp, I still have some sense of participation in the class. Please read the other reviews below if you want something structured. But I think what I wrote here would resonate more to other people who  had always planned on career-switching from their mundane jobs

I'm currently a full-time student at Sigma School, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The instructors are fantastic—they really know their stuff and make complex topics easy to understand, even for beginners like me.

I was with zero coding experience, looking forward to start a career in tech. Started joining this boot camp 2  months ago, from not knowing any line of  coding, to able to create my own web application. I would say that so far, my overall experience was great. They have good friendly and very supportive community. I got all the supports and resources that i need as they do have a very responsive support team of experienced developers. Most importantly, the learning experience was smooth, well structured curriculum that are easy to follow and digest. I able to understand complex concepts step by step. Never thought  I can code this quick though. Very recommended for beginners 👍🏻

Sigma school instructor and staff put so much effort in this course that really guide me from a beginner, aboslutely none coding experience people until I create my first project, and my journey to become a full stack web developer. I have no regret sign in this bootcamp. 

Sigma School has helped me in many ways. Before, I was only able to code but I had no structure, no way of knowing which way to go or what to learn, it was as if i dont know what i dont know, but Sigma School helped that. It structured the course for me, then helped me gain the knowledge I needed also explaining why I needed it. Therefore, I had a very good experience with Sigma School. Would recommend if you seem lost.

If I could, I would rate it ten stars. You would pick up a lot of new tech knowledge, thus it would be well worth the time and money. They are headquartered in Malaysia, but I had no problems with them in terms of classes, and they are always willing to help, even if I am in the Philippines. I heartily suggest this especially if you want to transition to the tech industry!

If you would like to have a good kickstart on what development is all about and you wish to explore more to give you a strong foundation, do check out this school! The modules are pretty easy to catch up and it gives you an explanation that is easy to understand of the core concepts. Understanding the base knowledge will help you to explore more on about what web development has to offer. The teachers/instructors are also very interactive, helpful and passtionate to help more people to understand. Highly recommended!

I came across Sigma School when I was in my final semester of university. I've always felt that my programming skills weren't enough for me to land a job after I graduated and therefore was trying to upskill myself through online courses such as YouTube tutorials, Udemy courses, etc. However, throughout my self-taught journey, there were times when I felt demotivated and difficult to keep myself accountable all the time. Plus, I'm not sure when I'll be ready to apply for jobs as there was no guidance and insights from industry experts.Therefore, I joined Sigma School to upskill myself and received proper guidance on how to prepare for job interviews. After graduating from Sigma School, I would say that the whole learning journey was pretty intense, as there were 4 live classes per week (full-time bootcamp), but the effort paid off as I am now able to confidently clone any web application with full-stack functionality (front-end + back-end). All in all, for the price I paid, I would highly recommend Sigma School to anyone who is looking for an affordable boot camp with a high-quality teaching curriculum. Also, I completed my boot camp journey completely online!
