Fullstack Academy Cybersecurity Analytics Bootcamp (Part-Time)

Nobody wants to hire anyone in my class and I'm not surprised.. This class was incredibly rushed and It seemed like the instructor had zero to negative energy when teaching. Nobody wants to hire a fresh cyber security apprentice with no real experience.. But these people make it seem like this "bootcamp" is the way to get to it. Anytime we had intricate questions we were met with the usual "if you want to learn It you have to spend time outside of class learning it" 👍 I would of left a decent review if I had paid 1/10 of what I did. But since I paid what I did.... I can attest this is 100% not worth it. Everything you "get" with this class, you're able to get on the internet for free. Starting with VirtualBox. 

The instructors at Fullstack Academy prepare by giving you ample time to develop the skills you will need in the field. There will be a lot of times where you will be Googling things and that is fine. That's exactly what you will be doing most of the time. Curiosity as a major requirement in this field. Answers won't be handed down to you. Take advantage of mentoring & 1:1 session, build patience and resilience. Have fun with the material and be prepared to take it step by step. 

The Full Stack Cyber Bootcamp (part-time) is 26 weeks of learning the industry's most in-demand IT and cybersecurity tools/concepts along with receiving outstanding customer service from the career services team. I enjoyed learning IT fundamentals, networking, blue team, and red team concepts. Not only was the material beneficial to learn throughout the bootcamp, but the teachers did a good job of presenting the material in a way that I could grasp and apply what I've learned. This bootcamp will not only prepare you for future success in IT and cybersecurity roles, but it will also help you network with people who are currently in the industry.

Prior to attending the Cyber Bootcamp I had no formal education in anything related to Computers.  I attended the Fullstack Cyber Bootcamp from August through the end of April.  I did it part-time, three classes per week.  The entire class participated remotely.  We broke up into groups in each class and near the end of the course, broke up into groups to complete a capstone project.  During the last half of the course I began studying for the Sec+ exam, and passed it on the day before the course ended.  Then I studied for the CySA+ during the four weeks after I graduated, and took that exam and passed it.  Then I began looking for jobs through June and July, and in the first week of August, I received an email that a company was interested in interviewing me, and three weeks and two interviews later, I had a job!  I've been working three weeks now and I enjoy it very much!
