I came to Code Academy without any coding knowledge, yet I already had a job offer when I finished the course.During the course, the most important questions regarding language and technology were explained step by step. I received a lot of support from mentors and Ottavia in particular has always pushed me forward. The atmosphere was great, colleagues from the course willingly shared their knowledge. Overall, a wonderful 5 months, full of learning, challenges but also interesting, open-minded people!

It’s a new school, but the mentors and career coaches are all experienced, and the courses are well-structured. I joined a Full-Stack web development course with module specialization for five months in 2021. The course taught us many in-demand web development technologies effectively through introduction lectures, a helpful mentor system, and giving presentations at the end of each project.The mentors are always open to provide help and find solutions to coding problems, and they are patient and friendly, so I never felt like hesitating to ask anything. When they have time, they come around the students’ desks and ask if everything is going well; overall extremely supportive of each student’s learning success!We created around seven major projects, all the way from designing to publishing Front-end and Full-stack websites/web apps. I’ve heard that at other coding bootcamps students are only tasked with changing some lines of code in a template. So I found it advantageous to join Code Academy Berlin’s coding bootcamp, where I built all my projects from scratch, so I'm able to explain every line of code in my projects during technical interviews. I gained a lot of skills and confidence through creating such full-scale projects.We had a career week as well as one-on-one sessions with the career coach. That was very effective, and it helped me write a good CV and modify my LinkedIn profile to land a job in tech.Overall, I had only great experiences with Code Academy Berlin, and I landed a job within a month after I started applying for jobs!I recommend Code Academy Berlin!
