I recently attended Claim Academy for 3 weeks .Our First week the instructor went on vacation , and there wasn't a backup instructor in place. They called in favor to have friends in the industry teach. I was like ok whatever, but due to the mixing of instructors, they were just teaching random things and there was no curriculum for them to follow. By week three we had made it to our fourth instructor , who openly admitted he didn't know what was going on and wasn't a very good teacher. He had been asked last minute to fill in until the main instructor returned. In week three we spent an hour going over day one material because no one told the instructor what plan to follow. That same day we found out our main instructor had put his two weeks in and only had a week left. Claim academy had been trying to hire a second instructor for well over two months , and they also were under review  from the VA due to excessive complaints about the program. I left the next day after finding out the instructor was leaving. Claim Academy is a burning ship and i do not recommend. I will be pursuing coding at another bootcamp, stay tuned for my next review.

Claim Academy was the best decision I could have made. I decided to go to Claim Academy after my first semester of grad school at a 4 year university. The program I am enrolled in is suppose to teach a complete beginner coding skills. My university failed phenomenally, with most of my beginners java class averaging a 68 on an open note open book final exam. I decided to find someone who could teach what I needed to know. Claim Academy not only taught me Java, but also taught me tools I needed to ace interviews and get call backs. I have an interview every day next week from recruiters that reached out to me through my association with Claim Academy. I can't thank them enough. If you're lucky, you'll get to have Brandon or Nife as your instructors and Dannohh as a mentor. This is a solid team of instructors regardless of who you get though. Each of them is dedicated to you understanding the material. You just have to put in the work, and everything will fall into place. Do yourself a favor and choose Claim Academy.

I have been very interested in pursuing a coding career for several years. When I discovered that I was able to use my VA benefits through the VETTECH program to attend Claim Academy, I jumped on it. It started off well and I truly enjoyed our first teacher, Denish, as he was extremely thorough and genuinely cared about each and every student. Unfortunately, the next few weeks were not as successful as there was clearly a lack of communication between the school and the instructor. After that bump in the road, we received better instruction from Lamar. The mentor, Brandon, was phenomenal and he truly was the reason I feel successful in the course. I feel as though I have a solid knowledge of Java Development and I am excited to see where my career takes me. 

Claim Academy is amazing at what they do and how they run the program. If you need help they will be there every step of the way. That being said is don’t be afraid to reach out and ask questions to both the staff and the other students. There is always something new you can learn from everyone. This course will definitely keep you engaged as long as you are willing to put in the effort.

This is a life-changing course for anyone willing to put in the hard work it takes to make it through to the end. At the end of the course you'll have real-world, hands-on experience, and real projects to showcase to potential employers. The staff are all outstanding at what they do, from the instructors, to the mentors, to the back-office support. This academy has my highest recommendation and it's reputation as a top coding academy is well-earned and deserved.

Going to claim was one of the best i did in my life. From the recruiting to the mentoring is just A-1. I graduated with hard work and persistent, and the mentoring of claim instructors. Thank you Denish and Lamar.

A wonderful experience with the instructors, peers, and staff at Claim Academy. Please be advised that if you plan to change your life, come prepared and willing to make sacrifices. Claim Academy will help you every step of the way, but you bring your own motivation to the course. With the effort put in, you will go far. Highly recommend to those willing to put in the effort!

Coding can be a tough. It takes a lot of practice and determination to figure out solutions to technical problems and learn how to use them creatively. Claim Academy gave me the tools and confidence to create wonderful looking and functional web applications. 

Claim Academy helped me change my life. Developers are in high demand in St. Louis and Claim Academy recognized that. They turn intelligent individuals into capable developers. Be prepared to thinks about coding for 12 straight weeks, and then forever more! Hard work and dedication pays off!
