I joined Interview Kickstart to become a great engineer who takes pride in her work and is confident in solving problems with integrity. Interview Kickstart does provide excellent resources and support to realize that objective. My learning experience at IK has broadened my perspective on software engineering. I am much better at my current job. I can now understand why tier 1 companies have such comprehensive interview processes. If you are willing to do the work, the IK curriculum ensures you will thrive at your new job. I am glad that I chose IK because I would prefer to put in the effort to become a great engineer than try some shortcuts to clear the interviews. In my experience, IK glows in:
Building fundamentals and solving problems systematically
Excellent mentors who are ethical and eager to help
Empathetic student success associates
The student community of engineers who want to excel and are willing to help
Mock interviews with senior engineers at tier 1 companies
Some areas that could have been better:
Set the realistic expectation. Even though IK advertises getting interviews ready in 12 weeks, most students take much longer. Having realistic goals makes it less stressful.
Foundation videos are very long, a searchable resources index and guides would help to review and retain the information.
Provide placement assistance.
If I were to start over again (which I am - I joined their new ML switch-up program), I would study Data structures and Algorithms foundations before enrolling. Otherwise, in my experience with a full-time job and family, it is challenging to cope and make the most of the learning opportunity. In summary, it's a lot of hard work. It is not a shortcut but, in my opinion, an approach that can develop a strong foundation and make a lasting change.

Ik is a great program for someone who wants to fill the gap in their technical skills or crack those difficult coding and system design interviews. If you are ready to put in the hard work, you are only a few months away from your dream job.Pros:The support team is very understanding and supportive for extending or pausing the course when needed. This helped me a lot. Thanks IK!Cons:I wished there was a group study feature with other students so that you are not always trying hard to push yourself through any topics you have a hard time with. It might help with interactive study and hence discussions with other students.

Was really needing some foundational knowledge and structured learning for interview prep and InterviewKickStart delivered. I don't have the computer science background (mainly self-taught) but after going through the learning material/videos/classes, I feel more confident in what I am doing. There's still so much to learn and the interviews are still really tough but InterviewKickStart sets you on the right path. The coursework isn't cheap but it's of good quality and value. Just keep in mind, it's a commitment and it takes a lot of work. The program is not for beginners (I have several years of programming experience) and it's really up to you to pass the interviews. There are no guarantees that you'll land that dream job but if you put the time in you will learn something about computer science and how to prepare for those tough interviews and hopefully up-level into a high-paying job.

TL/DR+ Exceptional DS and Algo prep material and live classes+ Test review sessions and walkthroughs+ Pace (not attended a class? the videos are all recorded from multiple instructors for you to review later)+ System Design (one of the best)+ Mock interviews (15 of them! I did not even end up using all)+ Technical assistance+ peer-peer discord channel- pricey, but worth it- long classes in the weekends, but I expected it and was prepared to spend the timeI had worked for a company for more than 20 years and was looking for a change. Since I had not interviewed for a long time, I needed a structured course for me to walk through and practice my interviewing skills. I reviewed several online coaching schools and in the end I decided to enroll in Interview Kickstart after I attended their (convincing and honest) introduction webinar.I am glad I made the decision as it helped me find a job in a company that is shaping the future. The first few weeks were DS and Algo, with live classes. I was blown away by the quality of instruction videos by Omkar Deshpande. Coming from a non-CS background, I wish I had known about all the concepts even in my current job. I would have been at least 10x better programmer, let alone facing technical interviews. This material alone I feel is worth the money. After working through the material and live classes (extremely helpful and interactive), I decided to take some mock interviews and apply at the same time. Thankful and grateful to IK.

Had a very good experience with interview kickstart. The syllabus is very comprehensive and vast and also helps boost confidence when it comes to interviewing in reality. Not to mention the excellent support received from everyone including the coaching staff, interview panelists and success team staff. I definitely recommend interview kickstart to anyone looking to get past the fear of interviewing and boosting confidence.

The interview preparation course at IK is very relevant and comprehensive. Here are few things I liked about it.
1) Content: It's current and very relevant. The course operates on 80-20 strategy. While it focuses on 20% of content that matters in 80% of the interview scenarios, it also provides support to student who want to explore more through floater and coaching sessions.
2) Instructors: They know the stuffs that they teach really well. They are very engaging.
3) Operations: They are there for your success. Each of the students are assigned an SSA (Student Success Advocate) who guides students throughout the period. And they are good at it.
4) Beyond coding: There system design goes through fundamentals to advance topics currently asked in interviews. They are even more useful if you are applying for levels seniors and above. They also have some really good content on behavioral aspects of interview such as offer negotiations, resume, and linked in profile guidance, etc.
Though the program contents are really good, it does not guarantee a job. Here are some strategies that I personally believe a student can do to get the best out of the program.
1) More you put in, the better you are. The program is not a silver bullet in itself.2) Mock interviews: Mock interviews are taken by engineers, engineering managers, leaders, and executives from top software companies. I have found there reviews very helpful. Iteratively, I have been personally able to improve a lot by addressing feedbacks from previous mocks.
