Full Stack Coding Bootcamp - Full-Time Javascript

Developers Institute really make you feel at ease , everyone there is friendly and really cares from the teatcher to the office team . Big up to Ziv and Lise best teatchers that are professionals who are helping you all the time. True the TA teatcher should be more intensive and do more review.Concerning after the bootcamp : the career coach really tried finding internship after graduation by checking your  CV and portfolio. The issue is that its no 100% sure that they can find you something due to the actual economic situation in this domain and its something you should know..its taking time to find a job but they do try to help the best they can and its always nice to be supported ! Overall i fully recommend them .

Describing my emotions about learning at this place is difficult with words. It was challenging, and sometimes very challenging (I won't lie, there were even tears), but it's absolutely worth it, 200%. I was enrolled in the full-time program. Every day for 3 months: theory in the morning, practical exercises with teacher's assistants after lunch, and at the end of the week, we worked on small projects to practice the material covered. The learning platform is quite user-friendly, and the lesson recordings are available, which is very helpful when working on projects at the end of each week. The institute's team is a separate treasure. I've never encountered such dedication anywhere in my life. There wasn't a single person in the team who was indifferent. Any question could always be quickly answered, and during lessons, the teachers were ready to explain until everyone understood. All the instructors are highly professional and possess significant up-to-date practical experience, which is crucial in the high-tech industry.

At the end of the training, each of us had to develop a final project within 2 weeks and present it in English. My native language is Russian, and I came to the training with almost no conversational English skills, but since students came from different countries, we mostly communicated in English and were taught in English. Therefore, after months in this environment, I found it quite comfortable to speak English and present my project during the presentation.

Now, a two-month internship on real projects is starting, which will be a great advantage in job hunting and provide additional practical experience, of course. Alongside the training, a career consultant worked with us, and by the end, each of us had a ready resume, a portfolio website, and a clear job search plan.

In general, I could talk about this learning experience endlessly. To sum it up: if you're choosing where to start your journey, I highly recommend starting with the Developers.Institute!!!!!

Hi! I've just completed the Python + JavaScript full-time program at Developer.institute. This is an amazing course that provides new knowledge and teaches you how to solve various problems independently and as a team. I really enjoyed the training. Huge thanks to all the teachers, coaches, all the staff, and of course, the leadership of Developer.institute!Here's what you should know if you plan to study here:

Education is hard work. You'll be able to take away as much knowledge as you can carry. But rest assured, you'll have support at any moment, and you'll be able to find an answer to any question.
Before starting classes, it's very important to thoroughly study the preliminary course. It will provide basic knowledge and greatly help in learning.
Don't plan any other activities for the duration of the training. You simply won't have any free time.
Well-executed assignments will give you great pleasure and be an excellent motivator for new achievements. )

Instructors:

Pro: Extremely knowledgeable and patient.
Con: None

Who can apply:

Pro: No prerequisites so anyone can apply.
Con: Due to lack of selection, some students can hold the class back which will result in you having to go over the class notes independently at home in order to complete the daily content.

Content:

Pro: Assuming you don’t have experience, you will definitely leave with more knowledge than you came in with.
Con: The content is a bit backdated, for example you can still find “var” in the textbooks. Also, the language is sometimes confusing to understand, it for sure hasn’t been proof read by a native English speaker.

Home assignments:

Pro: Fun and educative. The instructors go over one assignment every morning before class.
Con: The Checkers unfortunately don’t actually check your work or give you feedback, you will get full marks as long as you submit something.

Landing your first job:

Pro: You get workshops to assist with your LinkedIn and resume.
Con: Recent change of career coach and understandable learning curve results in very few students actually landing an internship.

Everything about this course is great - from the teachers, assignments and online platform. Everything is clearly organized and explained in a way you could never achieve with just trying to learn on your own. The fact that the class is held hybrid is also phenomenal. I benefit from learning in person but also need the flexibility of learning from home when life gets in the way. The teachers and staff truely care about you and give you all the tools to succeed. Couldn't recommend developers institute enough.

I had only good experiences with the boot camp. I complete Full Stack Python and JavaScript classes and Im very happy with everything. The school board work constantly to improve learning skills techniques and course content. Studies up to the date!! Good instructors and TA. Full support!highly recommended!

Что для меня DI? В первую очередь это отличная среда для достижения новых целей. Я пришел на программу JavaScript с бэкграундом в программировании, и с целью освоить Web разработку. Это были очень интенсивные и интересные три месяца с большим количеством интересных задач в разных сферах разработки, когда каждый день вы должны разработать по несколько маленьких проектов (большую часть из которых можно добавлять в ваше резюме) , а в конце недели у вас обычно есть пару больших проектов подобранных специально чтобы охватить все новые знания за неделю у вас есть большая мотивация учить новые для вас технологии потому что в процессе выполнения этих заданий вы с вероятностью 100% столкнетесь с разными интересными проблемами с которыми вы можете столкнуться только в практике, а ваш инструктор будет всегда рад помочь вам разобраться.  В течении обучения проходили два интересных хакатона. Хотелось бы подметить профессионализм с которым разработан учебный план. Так же хочется отметить команду преподавателей на программе JavaScript, это люди которые пришли в DI не просто отсидеть свои рабочие часы и пойти домой, а пришли учить людей новому, и это видно по тому как они относятся к студентам. Я много раз подмечал как преподаватели оставались даже сверхурочно чтобы помочь ребятам которые что то не поняли и объясняли им материал. Что касается подготовки к первой работе в сфере, каждую неделю проходили тренинги по разным Soft skills которыми необходимо обладать разработчику, тренинги по составлению резюме , профиля LinkedIn и по ситуации в израильской сфере высоких технологий. Подводя итог этих трех месяцев хочу сказать, что это было очень интересно, интенсивно и полезно. Спасибо команде DI, это было круто!

what I really liked about developers-institute coding bootcamp is the practical way they taught us to become full-stack developers,because there are no secrets, for becoming a good developer - practice, practice and practice!!I found the lesson's structure very planned,it's very intensive but worth every minute. just take the time and div into the material and challenges.the staff is open for the student's feedback, and they are improving the lessons and the learning platform continuously.for conclusion, I highly recommend developers-institute, it's a wonderful place where you can get all the tools to be a great developer!!

It was a fantastic experience. I learned and absorbed a surprisingly vast amount of information within a very short period of time. I progressed from having basic knowledge of backend development to being able to write a full-stack application. The pace of the course was intense at times, but the resources provided by the program were quite accommodating and always positive. I would recommend this course to anyone with the time and the will to learn invaluable skills for their new career.

Like a lot of Israelis, at some point of my career (After 10 years in other paths) I wanted to work in High-tech but had zero technologic background and Developers Institute gave me those tools. Developers Institute is a bootcamp where everyone really cares and I really appreciated that! After only 3 months learning coding from scratch I can now create apps I didn't think I'd do after years of learning. All the teachers are professionals and also very kind and supportive persons who can help you in any time. They will always ask you if everything is OK or you need an additional review of any topic. Also I can say that career coach really tries to do everything to help in finding internship after graduation (creating CV, portfolio, your strengths defining, recommendations, sending your CVs to the best companies DI works with).
