Data Specialist

I graduated in the Data Engineering course a while ago. The syllabus that they displayed on their website caught my attention, since they claimed to teach more topics than their competitors.In reality, there were lots of problems, and the main was the low quality of most of the lectures.Also, the bootcamp was poorly organized:SQL was treated superficially, so we had to study by ourselves some important topics such as analytic function;they took almost two months to teach basic python syntax, when it could have been easily taught faster and the saved time used more wisely;the statics module was almost useless;the most interesting and important topics for a data engineer, Airflow and Spark, were taught in little to no time and with superficiality;the exercises are almost useless, since they focus only on syntax and none of them is about to create code that do anything meaningful.The job assistance is also useless:They have a talent platform on their website where you can put your information, but it doesn't work properly, and you can only insert basic information about yourself. You can't even put degrees that you earned at the university or other certifications;they claim to help you find new job opportunities, but the only things they do is sending job offers that can easily be found on job seeking platforms.The only things that left me a good impression were the tutor and the coordinator; who helped me and the other students to get the most from this course by integrating from other sources and helping us understand some topics better.Considering the elevated price, there are lots of other courses who offer better preparation and also guarantee a traineeship for the same amount or even lower.

With hands-on project to keep us on our feet and detailed supervision from our tutors, I metamorphose from  being a complete novice to an intermediate in Data Engineering/Analysis. A School where they support you till the very end and believes in you.

I'm writing this review as freshly graduated student of Develhope Data Specialist course. First thing to point out that these people are HELPFUL and this creates a trusting environment. As every institution/company they have some parts that need improving and I know they are doing their best to do so and I believe that is the most important aspect of Develhope. First couple of courses may seem easy and you might think it is doing no good, but as I wrote in the title "Trust in the process", because you might have a little background on python or SQL but as you progress through the course you'll learn much more than python, SQL or coding. My coordinator, Elena and my tutors Ahmed and Abdullah were always open for my questions and requests for extra exercises and additional materials. Having a classroom structure enables you to have interactions with other students, making friends and interact with other cultures. Which is a HUGE plus for Develhope. This enables you to improve your soft skills as well, you learn how to cooperate with your colleagues, how to overcome language barriers, how to motivate your teammate to do tasks...etc.Develhope also helps you with your personal skills to make it easier for you to co-op in business world, because it is not always "coding" or "engineering" it is also communicating, leading, and project management. Most intriguing feature of Develhope for me was their Job Replacement feature, their team is active and always looking for job opportunities and forward them to you. 

Develhope Data Engineering course has been very enriching for me. It provided for me the opportunity to acquire hands on experience and skills i have always coveted. Their curriculum is quite comprehensive and the tutors are always available for one on one sessions for guidance. I will 💯 recommend this course for anyone looking to acquire skills in the field of Data Science

am happy that i made that decision and joined this bootcamp , i advice all who have interests in Data to take that , it will put you on the right path , but note that it is not easy and require a lot of work .

This course includes all the skills that you need to have if you'd like to become a data scientist. Over the six months we learned lots of softwares and techs such as Excel, SQL , Python, Apache Airflow, Spark etc. The curriculum is really well designed and course went as declared in the schedule. The group project was really helpful of working in a team. Moreover, we had two great tutors and always helped to our class to solve data related problems. Also, they arranged monthly career development sessions which help us to improve our soft skills. Personally, I learned lots of things and gained hands on experience. Just before the graduation day, I landed my first job. I strongly suggest you to dive into this course and start coding :)
