I recently completed a part-time Data Science bootcamp, and the journey has been very satisfying. As someone with a background in a Biology, I was initially doubtful about delving into the world of data science. However, the comprehensive curriculum and supportive learning environment of this bootcamp quickly helped me get into the world of data.From the fundamentals of statistics and machine learning to hands-on coding projects, every module was carefully designed to build a strong foundation. The instructors did an excellent job of breaking down complex concepts into digestible, real-world examples, making it accessible for learners of all backgrounds.The instructors were always available for questions, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among the participants. One of the highlights of the bootcamp was the emphasis on hands-on projects. The capstone projects allowed me to apply the skills learned throughout the program to real-world scenarios. This practical experience was crucial in reinforcing theoretical knowledge and building a portfolio that showcased my abilities to potential employers

Excellent course with great instructors having robust industry experience & knowledge. From day one, they pass on all the essential data science skills focusing on practical and hands-on training. In addition, the curriculum incorporates a career development course that prepares you for real-world challenges and life after Bootcamp. It is intense, even at part time but with 500 hours later you really feel like a data scientist that  can tackle anything thrown at you.The curriculum is full stuck but you might need a bit of extra work on your own depending on your background. Most of the instructors are simply great and a mix of teachers and practitioners at the same time.

I'll write this under the lens of someone that had some basic programming experience and did a solid review of math (algebra, calculus etc) for 2 months before initiating the Data Science bootcamp.For an optimum experience and to get the most out of it since it is fast paced, my advise is to 1) have dipped your foot in most of the concepts beforehand and 2) spend personal time reviewing the exercises and theory behind each lesson. I liked the cohesion of the lessons; theory was presented by the instructors along with code along and then relevant exercises students had to do to practice. Instructors and teaching assistants were available throughout the exercise time. Instructors were experienced individuals currently working as data scientists/engineers, which gave further weight to advise and guidance on best practices.Following the advise above, you'll end the bootcamp with a solid foundational understanding and practical application of data science concepts and algorithms, programming languages such as python and SQL, and valuable experience from a hands on portfolio project with a company.For someone that may have seen various tutorials online, and wants to take a step in the field and does not know how to do it, doing the bootcamp is a solid choice.

It was an amazing experience to start my journey in Data Science with Big Blue Academy. An online bootcamp that you learn all the theory and get all the programming experience through real world problems and exercises. All the instructors are passing their expertise, have deep knowledge of the material they are teaching and are devoting the time to really give you the insights of the data science community. Everyone included in the program was very interactive and willing to help when it came to a coding problem or a discussion about a career perspective.
