I had no experience before joining the Data Science and Machine Learning course. I had a lot of trouble understanding the content at the beginning to the point that I was very close to dropping out.With guidance from my teachers and a lot of support I stuck with it and I am so glad I did.I felt as if I have grown so much throughout the course and so thankful that I finished it.

I gained real world experience and felt that the topics covered were relevant for me entering the industry. The instructors Sunny and Dhani were willing to go above and beyond to help me complete the course confidently.

I've always been interested in data but had minimal experience.  This course really through me in the deep end with plenty to learn and see what I enjoyed most about data science.  The course didn't just teach coding though.  We had to complete mini projects and a capstone project throughout the course which involved presenting a business case using the skills that we were learning throughout the course.  This was useful experience beyond just data science.The course was up to date and the instructors were very knowledgeable.  It was also easy to get support when I needed it.  The job outcomes program afterwards also provided me with as much support as I needed for my job hunt.Overall, this course has helped me find a new job in a difficult economic climate and set me up well for the future.  I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to grow their skills in data science.

I must appreciate Great Learning for the great coordination and fantastic interactive learning interface and support provided throughout the program. The team members are of awesome personalities, and this made my studies worthwhile during this period. I had learnt a lot through the very insightful practical sessions, and I can boldly say that I can now be called a Data Scientist. The learning process isn't as easy as one would think, though the tutors have simplified it in such a way that it is easily understood but believe it's worth the while at the end and you'd be glad you took it up.

I recently completed a data science and AI bootcamp, and it was a truly rewarding experience, especially since I didn’t have much background in the field beyond some math and statistical concepts (and if you don't have these, you can still take the course). The program was intensive, covering a wide range of topics that provided a solid foundation in data science and machine learning, all while emphasizing practical applications and hands-on learning.
The curriculum struck a great balance between theory and practice. Throughout the bootcamp, I developed skills in Python, SQL, and essential machine learning libraries like pandas and scikit-learn. One of the most valuable aspects was the opportunity to work on real-world projects, including time series forecasting, classification tasks, and diabetes prediction. These projects allowed me to apply what I learned—from data preparation to model evaluation—and significantly deepened my understanding.

The bootcamp’s career support has been invaluable. It continues for about a year after the program concludes, which is incredibly helpful. They offer resume reviews, LinkedIn profile setup, and insights into the job market. This guidance has helped me present my skills effectively to employers, making me feel well-prepared for the next steps in my career.
Overall, the bootcamp was demanding but ultimately very rewarding. It pushed me to expand my technical skills, apply them to real-world scenarios, and gain confidence in my abilities. While it required dedication, the knowledge and experience I gained made it more than worthwhile—plus, it was flexible enough to manage alongside work and other commitments.
I would highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to break into the field of data science or enhance their existing skills. It offers a thorough, hands-on learning experience with excellent support from instructors and a strong focus on real-world applications.

I recently completed this 6 month course - it's a big investment, financially and in terms of time and effort, but I do think you can get a lot out of it. This course is aimed mainly at individuals completely new to data science (which I was), and I found the content somewhat challenging - it's a lot of information to digest in a short time, but I would say it's a good place to get started if you're wanting to move towards a career in data science. My trainers were all approachable and eager to help us during workshops and outside of class, and I think that the projects are a great way to get a portfolio started. I do think that the value you get from this course is proportional to your input and engagement - you could coast through and not learn much if you chose to, but if you're motivated enough, you can learn a lot and maybe make some really useful connections. 

There are not many opportunities to balance a full time job with gaining skills to forge a brand new career in a highly technical field. The part-time remote course was a good balance of structure, access to expert guidance, and convenience without cutting corners. Training staff and their experience in industry were an invaluable resource for the class to highlight what would be relevant in our careers and context of what we were learning. It also made the content much more interesting.3 instructors in a small class gave me options if I didn't gel with an initial overview, and surveys meant I could provide feedback on the class and I could tell they took this onboard graciously and made adjustments. Learning in the course can be highly tailored to your previous experience and future goals - our cohort had current IT/data professionals, sales, healthcare, and even primary industry. All walked out with impressive marketable data skills that are in-demand. Assesments through practical projects really showcase this, and meant I felt really secure and overall inspired with the new skills I had gained. I was able to start working on outside web-scraping and consulting projects while still in the course.I am usually skeptical of 'career coaching' but the support here is no nonsense, practical, and informed by genuine market conditions. Awesomely  kind people too.An extremely rewarding 6 months of hard mahi in a very exciting discipline.

The IOD Bootcamp is a steep learning curve for learning Python in a short period of time. The skills gained will make you job ready in as little as 3 months. The course is taught by professionals, who will help you with getting through your assignments. A capstone project at the end of the course will showcase all the skills that you have learnt, which will be a great selling point when applying for data related jobs. Overall a very good course to gain the skills required, in a short period of time, with flexible study options.

The course was well-structured with clear learning objectives from the beginning. While it offered a solid foundation, it wasn't an in-depth exploration of data science or AI. However, it did provide the tools and knowledge to apply newly acquired skills to real-life projects. The teaching staff were very helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable in both theory and practice. The pace was quite fast, which is typical for a bootcamp.
