Data Analytics + Python

This boot camp was a great kick start to my career pivot. I would much further behind my peers if it wasn't for this boot camp. The instructors did a great job setting me up for success in my new career. Thanks Savvy!!

The course was excellent. I started learning python in my job because I needed it as a skill. I decided to seek professional training to broaden those skills and I don't regret it one bit. You get what you put into the course, and I'd highly encourage any future students to spend additional time on the pre-work so that you can get more out of the course.In general with this course though you will get what you put in. The more serious, engaged, and inquisitive you are, the better you will learn, and the more you will learn.The timeline is tough, but just remember you're not dumb, it's a compressed timeline so they can fit everything in.

The staff from top to bottom really care about your overall success, not just completing the course. The teacher aide's always found the time time to help address any issue or question I had. They have dedicated class time at the end of each week to dive into a topic you need extra help with. I highly recommend this bootcamp if you are new to the tech field and wanting to jump start your career with a bootcamp.

My background cannot be further from data analytics as a medic.In three months, I have developed the basic skills of interpreting, creating, and manipulating code in programs such as VS Code and SQLite. I have learned there is plenty of room for creativity, critical thinking, and skill development which allows for both lateral and horizontal career moves. Very happy with the tools acquired in such as short period of time!

Overall, I had an extremely beneficial and rewarding experience with the Data Analytics curriculum. I think the class is a well thought out introduction to concepts like data gathering, cleaning, and presentation in addition to SQL, Python, and Tableau. I believe the irreplaceable value to the course is in the job placement - the mock interviews, networking, and the developing of basic skills needed for good interviews. The exposure to companies looking for new talent through the mock interviews was, for me, of surprisingly high quality and a valuable learning experience.
