Honestly, I don't see any cons with Springboard. Staff is great and mentors are fantastic. When they say that the mentors are experts in the field, they mean it. The pros that I felt are note worthy are flexibility, mentors are VERY knowledgably and helpful, Springboard site is very easy to navigate, and Springboard does a great job at keeping track of your progress. Many bootcamps have great offers but not the flexibility. I was not ready to drop my job to go back to school. Springboard allowed me to take the courses at my own pace. Although that may not be most people's cup of tea, if you're motivated to succeed, you'll graduate in less than 6 months.

The program is intensive and challenging but you get what you put into it. I liked the inclusion of case studies where you really test your skills. A huge plus were the unlimited mentor calls in addition to your main mentor. The community whether it was advisors or other students was very engaging and encouraging.

I am very satisfied with my experience with Springboard's Data Analytics Career Track.   The curriculum was very well organized with a great combination of instructional videos and articles as well as hands on projects and case studies.  I also found it helpful to be paired with a mentor (industry expert).  My mentor was great, and provided me with helpful feedback and support, and kept me accountable to my goals. It was also great to have two capstone projects as part of the curriculum - for something to talk about in interviews.  Additionally, the Career Services aspect was incredibly helpful.  The Career Coaches and career units in the curriculum really helped prepare you for all aspects of the job search: from updating linked in and resumes to networking and interview prep!

In searching for a bootcamp to jumpstart my career in tech/data, I wanted to find a bootcamp that would make the application process seamless and to provide me with 24/7 support, especially being so new to the field. The fact that the curriculum was very in depth, as well as providing career support and not only providing a curriculum in terms of learning the hard skills, but also adding support with the soft skills. It overall made me a well-rounded student and I feel much more comfortable entering the field and job search with all the skills I have attained. Springboard's data analytics bootcamp came along at a perfect time for me. I had just finished my MBA but then the pandemic hit and I found that I was missing the data skillsets that are de rigeur in the Bay Area. I highly recommend this bootcamp for upskilling and broadening and deepening your data and business understanding. Also know that a bootcamp isn't a one-and-done. A bootcamp serves to build your foundation of skills on which you continue to build your practice. Outside of a traditional college program or the rare company that is heavily invested in training, this is the best curated experience to help job changers. You have to do a lot of work but you have tremendous support, too, which is everything. I highly recommend Springboard because the curriculum is extremely comprehensive and you learn a ton (and then there will always be a ton more to learn after that, and then after that). For my program, there are 18 units that cover everything from strategic thinking to technical interviewing for a data analyst. This is a valuable curriculum because you learn so much about how to use the tools, use cases, best practices, design principles, and are exposed to numerous resources to build your data practice.Tools and curriculum

You learn strategic thinking, framing business problems, problem statements, issue drivers etc. 
Excel - you learn most useful features in Excel
SQL - you learn basic SQL to get going on using Tableau and learning about relational databases
Tableau (Which is underpinned by SQL) - you learn how to build nice visualizations and much of your portfolio will be in Tableau (or Power BI but I only used Tableau). 
Python - There's a ton to know with Python but it is really exciting to be able to get help to debug and talk through your code as your understanding deepens or have questions. The Mentor on Demand feature is one of the greatest aspects of this program and the staff are very kind and patient.

Tying it back to your career - You learn how to reposition yourself in the job market with all the help you need!

Career coaching - figuring out the kind of roles and companies you are interested and then how to position yourself to move in that direction.

Bootcamps really help get the skills you need on the map but there is no magic work around for the time it takes to practice and really learn how and why tools work. Springboard also helps you to understand the kind of work you will continue to do to build your practice once you've finished. Finishing the bootcamp is actually only the beginning but you get so much help and support on the way to beat back the feeling of imposter syndrome. I cannot recommend this enough. I was able to pitch being in this bootcamp as a reason to hire me for the role I am currently in (I was able to successfully reposition myself). 

I really enjoyed the curriculum. It was helpful that I could check things off as I went and review items whenever I needed. I'm sure mentors can be hit or miss, but mine was great.

I took the on-line course of Springboard Data Analytics.  The curriculum covers a broad range of the industry's best practices.  The student is allowed to explore new methods of structuring the scientific inquiry, mapping the field of investigation, providing solutions, discussing their validity and limitations, and sharing their presentations in elegant and effective ways with diverse audiences.   
I had to be disciplined to keep the pace, studying in the evening and the weekend, in addition to being a single father and a full-time government professional.  Mentors, Coaches, Advisors and other colleague students were very supportive.  I am very happy I made it successfully, and more, I am grateful for the professional guidance I received challenging me to succeed even when I could have been tempted to drop my hands. I can now read, write and speak confidently about economics and statistics.   I can use critical thinking frameworks like HDEIP, MECE, and technology tools for programming, research and analysis like Excel 365, SQL, Python, and for visualization like Power BI and Tableau.  I am confident exploring any topic of interest with data.  My two Capstone Projects illustrate it perfectly: "Manufacturing Recovery Economic Recovery" and "More Monies More Polarization".  I was allowed to explore one topic in economics and one in political economics successfully!  Though my background is in physics, engineering, environmental and social sciences!
I belong now to a community that likes to keep learning and sharing with alike professionals.  This is huge!  
I definitely recommend Springboard to other professionals, colleagues and friends!

Pros: Great introduction to data analysis. Felt like a got a good feel for the breadth and process.My favorite part of the curriculum was the projects and real-life case studies. "Doing" facilitates learning so well.Great mentorship program. Knowledgeable and helpful professionals.It was helpful to having career coaches to motivate me to get my foot in the door for interviews.Cons:A good portion of the curriculum is directed elsewhere: Youtube videos, Datacamp, etc. I wondered at times if the curriculum was worth the thousands of dollars.I had a couple of encounters with career coaches and student advisors that gave the impression of inflexibility. If I was going to graduate, it had to be their way, including all the busy work that I deemed unnecessary or unhelpful.Overall, I enjoyed the program and learned a lot from it. And I can't complain: I'm a full-time data analyst!

If you have a baseline knowledge of statistics, business and Excel then this is a very great course! Personally, I did not have any knowledge of Excel prior to this course and very little in business and finances, so it took me a bit longer to finish the course. However, beyond that, the SQL, Python, and Tableau/Power BI skills were amazing and intuitive. Highly recommend! 

Springboard is by so far the best online bootcamp I have ever seen with real life projects that helped me explore more and expand my knowledge. The way the curriculum is designed is well outlined with adequate learning materials. The one to one mentor that we are assigned and the unlimited mentor calls that are accessible 24/7 made my learning process so much interesting and easy. Last but not least the students advisors and Career Coaches are as amazing as the rest of SpringBoard teams. The mentors are highly qualified and were able to guide me in the right direction. I had no experience with data analytics but SpringBoard is an eye opener for me. The Slack community channel is another engaging platform for experience sharing and meeting students. I have just finished my course with fully equipped knowledge and more confidence than ever to apply for jobs. I highly recommend SpringBoard for anyone that wants to make a career change. 

Overall, I highly recommend the course, especially for those who has gap for some reason. It is well structured for emphasizing on the skills (Excel, SQl and even Python). It gives you hand-on projects to practice and to talk about for future interviews. I am glad that I am a part of the nice Springboard community. Everyone from mentor, additional coach calls, alumni is super helpful. I would strongly recommend my coach ( Paras Doshi) for his years of expertise in the industry and willingness to help.  I had few failures before I joined the course. I used to self learn and use free materials which is pretty normal. Then I realized it was pretty slow to make progress and kind of waste my time. So I decided to join Springboard and invest on myself. I am so glad I did it and everything ended up well. 

I looked at several bootcamps, and was in serious talks with a local one that provided on-site lessons, before ultimately going with Springboard. I was won over ultimately by the fact that you can move through the lessons at your own pace, which allowed me to finish up a little earlier than expected. The price was also nice, and while it made me feel good about the decision, it wasn't the primary deciding factor. There is also a job guarantee that you can earn, but there are some stipulations to it, so make sure that you read up on that so you know if you would meet it.     Despite the fact that this is an online, move at your own pace course, you are not going through it alone. I was paired with a fantastic mentor, with whom I skyped weekly. There are also one-on-one mentor calls that you can schedule a day or so in advance to get help from a mentor on call if you are ever stuck. There is also a slack channel for students to use for help and support at any time.     The projects are comprehensive and allow you to practice the skills you have just learned as you progress through the coursework, though some of the projects do need a little more structure and a clearer connection between the skill and the completed assignment (especially the SQL and Python units.) I figure the projects will only improve with time.     One of the things that I wasn't anticipating was how much career help they give you. I've been working for 20 years, but this was the most explicit help I've ever received on every step of the job search process. Additionally, there are several calls with career coaches throughout the curriculum, and I chose to meet with a different coach nearly every time, and I found every single one to be extremely knowledgeable and invested in helping with the topic at hand.      Overall, I had a fantastic experience. Ok, I'm still having that experience, because even after you finish, they provide ample support for your job search, such as weekly or bi-monthly calls with a career coach. 10/10, would do it again.

I found the course to be very methodical, but also well designed to jump around if you were waiting or stuck on a unit. It prepared me for the data analytics position I now have. Instruction was self paced and you met up with a mentor once a week. Career development begins right away. I appreciated the support received on both counts throughout the curriculum and post support during the job search portion. Student determination is a big part of student success, but having a well designed curriculum and capable mentors get you across the finish line. Highly recommend Springboard. 

I had a great experience in the Data Analytics course with Springboard. The curriculum is well planned and you learn a wide variety of skills. I also enjoyed meeting with a mentor each week to be able to ask questions when I was stuck or uncertain. For my Capstone project, I was able to use both Python and Tableau for the analysis which was exciting as I had been completely unfamiliar with both of these tools before starting this course. Now that I have finished, I feel I have developed a new skillset that can take me to the next level with my current employer.
