Data Analytics Career Track

The Springboard Data Analytics course was well-structured, starting from basics and building up, with plenty of opportunities for practice.  
This was then complemented by the regular mentor sessions with an industry expert, where I could discuss any queries and receive feedback or additional materials.  I also appreciated the encouragement that came from checking in with a real person.
I completed the course within 6 months alongside working full-time so I valued the flexibility to work through the course at my own pace, using the curriculum guide and dashboard to set weekly targets and stay motivated.
The career coaches I spoke to were very knowledgeable and up-to-date, giving useful insights and individualized feedback.
The customer service was great, giving friendly and prompt replies to all my logistical questions. 
The student slack and network was useful for learning from other students doing the course and for building connections.

Overall I learned a lot from the course both technically and professionally, and felt it was reasonably priced compared to alternatives.

My experience in the Data Analytics path at Springboard was and continues to be exceptional.   I'm a career changer, having taught high school mathematics, specifically AP Statistics, for twenty years.  Before that I had worked in the finance industry.  I left teaching before COVID but wanted to find a better use of my brain.  I had to take my business skills and update them for today's big data analysis:  SQL, Python and the proliferation of relational databases.  I feel that the program has prepared me well, making me a competitive candidate for remote work, which is a priority for my desired work/life balance.  The weekly mentor calls are invaluable, the projects along the way to build one's portfolio and the programmed career coaching keep one on track.   One needs to be self motivated and self disciplined to complete the curriculum.  I am working under a Job Guarantee and tuition deferment plan that made this a no-brainer. I can highly recommend this program and have done so when I have told people about my new path.

I took this course as a teacher for the last 10 years looking to leave the field.  I started this course in March and was able to finish mid-June.  The coursework is definitely do-able while working full time and balancing family, even as someone with very little background in data.  I had an amazing technical mentor and the slack channel was very helpful.  I am currently in job-guarantee, and am finding the requirements tedious.  However, the career coaches are valuable and knowledgeable.  My suggestion it to make sure you read all the find print for job guarantee.

I did enjoy it , I think they did good job of pacing the material and also providing support from having your own mentor to offering office hours for questions. They give you a good amount of time to finish and everyone was very helpful and got back to me in a timely matter!

I'm near the end of my program and I can't imagine being less satisfied with my experience at Spring board. With the exception of some members of the career team their staff is entirely unhelpful. I've never spoken to my student advisor despite multiple attempts and I'm working with my second mentor after the first one rushed me off of each call and now my second just doesn't show up. Most of the coursework is not unique to Springboard you're essentially paying a big pricetag for a subscription to Linkedin Learning and Datacamp. 

Springboard was a monumental help in getting me into my career as a Data Analyst. The course is a perfect blend between the analytics curriculum and career support which makes the job search upon completion much more manageable. The support from mentors and students is prevalent and helpful to your success in the course. I would recommend any of Springboard's course to anyone who is interested in stepping into a tech-oriented field.

I had minimum analytical experience before starting this course, other than a Finance degree, knowledge of statistics, and above average Excel skills. I began this course to prepare me for a career in Data Analytics and I can confidently say that after seven months I feel very prepared to succeed in this field. I learn by doing, and that is how the majority of the Springboard curriculum is set up. When learning new skills, they provide guided real world practice, simulations, and guidance to complete projects on your own. The mentor aspect was huge for me - having someone help you along the way on a bi-weekly basis who knows you personally and wants to see you succeed. I enjoyed the career readiness aspect but I feel some of the Technical Interview aspects could have been implemented sooner in the program. All in all, I am very satisfied to have completed this course and am excited to put all the skills Springboard has taught me to use in the real world. 

I was nervous, getting back into an educational program after a miserable time in higher education. However, Springboard turned out to be a good choice – self guided but also with a little bit of oversight, and a Pass/Fail system rather than worrying about grades and additional numbers! That being said, Springboard isn't perfect, and I hope that some of the changes I had mentioned to my mentor over the past 7 months get brought to someone's attention, or get fixed in some way. I do think that there could be some other review/testing for certain segments instead of pushing it in the end, and some of my external graders/reviewers ended up either making me feel less confident in what I was doing, or simply had unintentionally set me up for failure on a later assignment. However, when I asked for help and when I received it, it was fantastic! Definitely worth it, and I can't wait to see what success this has lined me up for!

Springboard is a largely self-paced bootcamp, though there are still milestones that need to be met by the student. I would say for me the biggest pro of Springboard is that they offer their students more career support than any other program out there, which is massive! The con of Springboard is that there are no live lectures, so if that's the environment in which you learn, then the nature of this program can be difficult for you. 

Course is fast paced but detailed , gave me skills that i was missing. The support and mentorship program they have is wonderful. I would recommend to anyone wanting to start a career in data analytics. Would be nice to have included more visualization tools like Denodo and more ways for student to interact. Career support/coaching is wonderful in helping you get your desire analytics position

 Springboard's data analytics program offered a robust curriculum with plenty of practical work and opportunities to start building a strong portfolio through capstone projects. The 1:1 mentorship and career coaching were valuable, guiding me toward meaningful growth in analytics. Ideal for those committed to enhancing their skills. 

This was a course that is built for the success of their students in mind. It’s comprehensive and does a great job introducing the world of data analytics from the beginning. I did enjoy that it even dived into mindset and how to think business-like.

Springboard offers a great educational experience that combines mentorship, challenging projects and a career coach that really helps accelerates your career. The content of the course covers all the fundamentals required to enter the field of data analytics and is supplemented by a seasoned mentor that provides crucial insights that will further push your knowledge. Also, the capstone projects are an excellent way at showcasing your skill set while solidifying all the lessons you have learned. I would recommend Springboard to anyone that is interested in a data analytics certification.  

I've been in the program for the last 6 months and it's been a good learning experience so far. The program is well designed to get you from a non-data person to a Junior data analyst level, ready to enter the data job market. You'll learn useful skills (coding, advanced Excel and visualization) and you're well supported by a network of helpful mentors, career coaches and an online community on Slack where you can interact directly with other students and TAs. I've enjoyed my experience so far and think it's good money invested well. Below are some pros and cons: Pros: 1) Learnings on really relevant topics 2) Capstones and exercises to make you practice what you learn and these are reviewed by experts who are more than willing to give oyu honest feedbacks3) Support from mentors and career coaches as you navigate the world of data analytics4) Job guarantee (given you pass all the requirements)Cons:1) Just like any online course, the learning can sometime feel isolating. It's you and your computer most of the time, but I believe you make your own learning experience as you desire. I connected with 2-3 people in my cohort and we decided to meet weekly to "study" together on a Zoom call2) The learning is self-paced and you have to be disciplined to get to the end of the courses so that you don't get too behind and end up having to extend the courses for a fee

They were absolutely amazing! The support system is amazing as well and very supportive. I enjoyed the course and I would definitely recommend this to anyone! There was help when you need it as well and class review sessions with help live as well as recordings available.

I went into this on a limb, as my background is not in data science... I was afraid but ready! Once I began I almost couldn't stop. The curriculum has a very smooth work flow and ease of transition. As I continued, I began to feel confident and this was backed by my mentor who was incredibly supportive of me and my work. The knowledge and confidence I've gained is irreplaceable and I'm glad I took the chance.
