Data Analyst

 I recently started using DataCamp as part of a scholarship program, and so far, my experience has been positive. The platform is well-structured, especially for beginners who are just getting into data analysis and programming. The lessons are broken down into short, interactive segments, which makes it easier to stay engaged. I also like that you can practice immediately after learning a concept instead of just watching videos passively. One thing I noticed is that some topics can feel a bit confusing at first, especially if you’re completely new to programming. However, with consistency and practice, it starts to make more sense over time.Another advantage is that it doesn’t consume too much data compared to other learning platforms, which is helpful for students.Overall, I think DataCamp is a solid platform for building foundational skills in Python and data analysis. It requires discipline and consistency, but if you stay committed, you can learn a lot from it.

I’ve always wanted to take courses on DataCamp, and after completing some of the SQL courses, I found them very helpful and interesting. The instructors are great, and my favorite part is that we get to practice after every section it really helps reinforce what we learn.So far, it’s been a great experience overall. I just have one small comment: in the Data Manipulation in SQL course, the section about window functions wasn’t explained in much detail, so I had to look it up on YouTube to understand it better. However, when I started the PostgreSQL Summary Stats and Window Functions course, I found many of the missing details that helped clarify everything.It was a bit frustrating at first, but I really appreciate that the later course covered those concepts more thoroughly. I just wish the earlier one included a bit more explanation about window functions from the start.

DataCamp is the most worthwhile online course platform for learning about data and using analytical tools such as SQL, Python, and even data visualization tools like Power BI. I’ve tried and learned from many platforms, and so far, DataCamp offers the best value for the price. It has helped me understand how to code more easily.

I am a medical doctor and all my life i’ve tried to run from statistics, mathematics and consequently from coding and data science as well. I’ve always found all these subjects too dry and pestering. By chance, I received a DataCamp scholarship and decided to give data science a go. I started to learn R from DataCamp with zero previous knowledge about coding or programming. I was amazed and fascinated by the way DataCamp is able to simply it to the level of an absolute beginner and then provide a learning curve which I was able to grasp. The courses were fun and extremely well balanced. Every day I learnt something new and practiced it the next day with their practice sessions which are included in the subscription. This reinforced my knowledge and accelerated my learning speed. Before I knew it, I was reading code like I was reading a language like english or spanish. I was surprised by myself when I realised I had actually starting getting a hang of it. Kind of got addicted to learning more and more and now I’m fully hooked. Their career track on Data Analyst in R helped me tremendously in accelerating my medical research career and now i’m fully on track to become a certified data analyst.

 Le Wagon provided an immersive, hands-on bootcamp that sharpened my technical skills while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. The instructors were top-notch, and the community was incredibly encouraging, making it an unforgettable learning experience that set me up for success in my career.

I love datacamp's style because it is interactive and reinforces your learning by practicing. I am using several sources / platforms for learning but Datacamp is my primary choice for learning technical skills. Video lessons and practices are neat even on mobile. Datacamp has helped me a lot in not only gaining skills but also having the confidence to really take on actual jobs thru certifications. 

Aprendí mucho, muy chéveres los profesores explican bien y se preocupan por qué nadie se quede atrasado, también quedan los videos de cada clase y me gustó mucho el tema de empleabilidad que ayuden a hacer la hoja de vida y buscar empleo 

I was asked in a job interview if I had xp with Databricks - I didn't. Too bad, I really wanted the job. I opened Datacamp and did the first course: it opened Databricks UI, it really connected me to the platform. I ended the course and send the interviewer the certificate on Linkedin saying - and feeling - that NOW I know Databricks. Trully knew, in an objective and precise way! I recommend. The curriculum is great and considerable number of practices right after each lesson forces me to have hands-on coding experience. Tienen tres ejes que son técnicos,psicológicos y empleabilidad.Es algo que destacó por qué tienen claro que somos seres humanos ante todo. Before enrolling in Le Wagon, I had heard glowing reviews about the school's training programs from numerous sources. However, it wasn't until I actually joined that I truly understood why it was so highly regarded. The curriculum is meticulously designed, with a perfect balance between theory and practical application, allowing students to grasp complex concepts in a relatively short span of 9 weeks.What struck me the most was the intensity of the program. Each day was packed with lectures, coding exercises, and collaborative projects, leaving little time for leisure. Yet, it was this very intensity that pushed me to learn and grow at an accelerated pace. The challenges presented during the course forced me to stretch my limits, testing my problem-solving skills .Despite the rigorous nature of the program, I found immense satisfaction in overcoming each obstacle and mastering new concepts. The sense of accomplishment after completing a challenging project or solving a difficult coding problem was unparalleled. Moreover, the supportive community of instructors and fellow students made the journey all the more enjoyable.Looking back, I can confidently say that my time at Le Wagon was both grueling and immensely rewarding. It was a transformative experience that not only equipped me with valuable technical skills but also instilled in me a sense of resilience and determination to tackle any challenge that comes my way in the future.

At first, I thought it was just a generic website trying to attract people with a pretty interface, but my opinion completely changed after seeing the content, how easy it is to learn, the vast variety of topics available, and the way they connect. They always focus on having individuals practice instead of just copying and pasting the code provided by the instructor. I believe it was the best discovery of my career, and I will definitely continue to progress and learn with Datacamp.

I consider DataCamp is the best educational platform to learn everything related to data, from database management to extract data, data cleaning, data presentation with visual tools, everything with profesional certification!

What I love the most is that every course is broken down in bite-size lessons with a practice exercise just after the video end to ensure you put your hands on the coding and learn by doing short and tailored code.

I was fortunate enough to access the datacamp platform through their scholarship/give back program with Ingressive for good. I am based in Africa, and currently having employment issues so having funds to access such a platform was something I would have not been able to do without their scholarship opportunity. So I am grateful I have the opportunity to access the platform and upgrade my skills. Datacamp is giving me a chance for a new career and a better life. The course outlines are clear, the lessons are informative, their platform is userfriendly and easy to navigate. All in all, 5stars
