Working at the Institute of Data as a trainer has been a great opportunity to give back to the students who are interested in Cybersecurity. I’ve enjoyed building connections with them and seeing the students grow in their knowledge and abilities throughout the length of the class. Teaching is a two-way street, and I also get to be continuously learning from the students challenging me with their questions and new perspectives. It has been very fulfilling to contribute to their education and help them pursue their dreams. I always have great support from the entire IOD team, and we work together to ensure that the students have the best outcomes from the course.

I completed the Cybersecurity program at the Institute of Data about three months ago, and it was an excellent introduction to the IT world. The course provided a comprehensive overview of cybersecurity that have helped me with the essential skills needed in the field. The curriculum was well-structured and go hand-and-hand with the CompTIA Security + Exam. My instructor and teacher assistants were knowledgeable and gave a lot of insight about working in IT. Adding the program to my resume significantly boosted my job prospects, and I was able to secure a position at a data center within a month of graduation. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to start a career in cybersecurity.

Before starting the course i was a little apprehensive due to the lack of I.T knowledge i possessed. However i was pleasantly surprised in how versatile and understanding the IOD staff were. Mohammed and Co are very passionate about what they do and it really made a difference in how they teach and explain concepts. The course itself is a bit challenging for someone with little I.T experience but please take it from me, aslong as you put the time and effort in you will succeed. I really enjoyed the mix on hands on theory and also going through real life examples to assist with understanding. Really valuable course.

Before starting this course, I had doubts about its usefulness for me, as I have been working in the IT industry for 25 years. However, I decided to combine my practical experience with the knowledge gained from this Cybersecurity Boot Camp. Our instructor was outstanding, and his IT expertise was exceptional. Although I already had some experience in cybersecurity, I noticed that the students who had no IT experience were well-supported and could participate actively in the classes.This program was not limited to theory only, and we got hands-on experience in pen-testing and system hardening. I consider my capstone project as my personal accomplishment, as I enjoyed conducting research and presenting my findings in the final assessment. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning about cybersecurity. It's a valuable investment of both time and money, and it provides excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth.
