I completed the full‑time cybersecurity bootcamp, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the marketing. The program advertised cybersecurity fundamentals, realistic career‑simulation projects, and strong job‑search support. While it does cover basic cybersecurity concepts, the material is far too introductory to prepare anyone for an entry‑level role. If you compare the curriculum to actual job postings, it becomes clear that the skills taught in this course fall short.There is no hands‑on experience with industry‑standard tools, no exposure to real security environments, and no coding of any kind. The “career simulation projects” are enjoyable, but the name is misleading — they do not resemble the work done in cybersecurity roles.Job‑search preparation is also minimal. The course provides a few generic videos on résumés and LinkedIn, but they offer nothing beyond what you can find for free online. The program advertises mock interviews and one‑on‑one coaching, but none of that was delivered. I was also told the program had an 80% job‑placement rate, yet the instructor openly admitted that no one from the previous class had secured a job.Overall, this program did not provide the depth, support, or practical experience needed to break into cybersecurity. Save your time and money and invest in a program that offers real hands‑on training and verified career outcomes.

I must say that I feel honored and privileged to have had this experience with QuickStart and completing the Cybersecurity course. It was a long process which required alot of dedication and commitment but the feeling of achievement is definitely worth it. I did face some obstacles and issues along the way but those issues were handled swiftly amd professionally by my Academic advisor. When I felt overwhelmed and behind on my work I was met with understanding and true support by my instructor  and the Academic support team in making sure I not only was able to complete my work but made sure my understanding of the materials was in tact.  Lastly I was going thru a difficult time at the beginning of the program, as I was unemployed but my Carrer Advisor step in and assisted me in obtaining suitable employment (relevant to my carrer path). I am still receiving support as we speak to further complete the testing for certification and for carrer advancement. This is one of the best choices I made which has changed aged the trajectory of my carrer and life. These folks at QuickStart will meet you with the same level of enthusiasm and work ethic you bring to the table as a student. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone interested in changing the career to IT or just leveling up on your path in advancement. QuickStart wants you to succeed and will provide the support and materials to get you there, just show up and be ready to work.
