QuickStart’s 'Cybersecurity Professional Development' bootcamp is a solid choice if you already know (or don't know) about computers, but want to learn more further in a structured way. The program does a good job of breaking down IT/network/cybersecurity concepts into manageable pieces and building on them step by step. It's not like bouncing between random YouTube videos or posts trying to figure out what to learn next. The bootcamp preps you for CompTIA's ITF+, A+, Network+ , Security+ and CySA+ exams (they provide a voucher for Sec+). They provide online lectures, videos courses and quizzes, labs and hands-on projects. You're exposed common tools and scenarios you’d see in the IT field, and are provided support from instructors to help keep you on track.
They also provide career support. Helping with things like resume building, interview prep, and 1on1 job search guidance with career advisors. You’re not just learning the technical side, but also how to actually land a role in the field. There's no shortcut to becoming an expert overnight. But if you want guidance and a roadmap into the field it’s a decent option.

This course is very good for anyone wanting a career in cybersecurity. From modules, labs, quizzes, and most importantly the cap stone projects. This course helps you become a cybersecurity professional within just 6 months. You also can take the security plus certification upon completing this course. 100/100 recommend.

One of the worst boot camps possible luckily I was able to find a lot of the information outside of the Boot Camp taught better for cheaper. They’ll do anything to not let you get your money back when they don’t come through with the Assistance. The guy if he did show up would send me a list of places some 100 miles away one was join the army for the job and we would need to have a meeting for this and sit there and waste my time scheduling a zoom call in the middle of my dayThis was one of the many excuses they had why they wouldn’t give me money back for this garbage over priced course. Saying I didn’t put in the work. I applied at 100s of locations but no one values bootcamps. Luckily I live in q populated area and was able to get my certifications with zero help from the content at Quickstart. And now have a good paying job with a big company, but this has nothing to do with this nonsense organizationAnyone rating this five stars must not have anything to compare it to and like others have said they do bribe people to leave reviews. In fact keep emailing me, which is why I’m leaving this review just being reminded and how much of a waste of money this was.

Very informative, labs help reinforce learning process"
Gain experience with Virtual Machines, Kali Linux, wire shark, password cracking, Networking between VMs. Learned Skill applicable to certifications. gain skills with python and ethical hacking... Coach Bill is awesome I have no cons.... I wouldn’t say employers value boot camps over degrees, but they are definitely hiring people from boot camps like this.

The labs are good because of the active nature, but lacking in description. Basically type tracert -d -h 3. What does all that other stuff mean? No clue. you'll figure out later if you self study which is the majority of how this bootcamp operates. They promised instruction that " will not be death by PowerPoint" (their words) but literally the entire class is that. the lectures are abysmal with horrible audio and bored instructors that sound like they're doing you a favor explaining complicated topics. Once you get to the CEH lectures they are done by EC council which you could just save money and do on your own. I spent about 40-60 hours outside of the course material studying to pass my Network+ exam. Originally what was supposed to take 6 months or be self paced is neither. After firing one of the teachers and moving cohorts around we are now nearing an 8 month course and you cannot access anything unless you wait for the entire class to get to that point. It does allow for time to study on actual valuable things like playing around with Kali or exam practice(Also promised- not part of this). With so many free or cheaper options out there (which i needed to study anyway) to learn this material, I am having serious buyers remorse. This is operated through Quickstart and Im not sure who keeps giving them money. Look it up they just got a huge investment. I guess taking advantage of people who don't know what else is out there pays off!The only actual pros besides the labs and projects are the teachers and people who work for the company are very responsive and helpful. 2 stars is being generous. But all of this could have been done cheaper and in a shorter time frame.

Enrolling for this bootcamp is one of the best steps I have taken towards enhancing my career this year. Cyber security is an important aspect of our digital world today and this training has equipped me with the necessary skill set I needed to excel in the field. I'm currently on an internship and I’m just waiting to take my certification exams before taking the next big step.
Excellent lesson structure and proficient tutors. This course which is self paced which gives you the freedom to work while studying. It’s also super affordable, and there are installment payment plans to suit different circumstances.

To say that the journey was breathtaking will be an understatement; it was worth every time, money, and attention. I can vividly recount my 28 weeks of online training experience, it was worth the while. Though I have had experience in the fields of penetration Testing, and Networking, I came to discover new areas like Python, business data analysis, and Penetration Testing.
Their course curriculum is quite considerate. It took me through a step-by-step practical procedures, with each step opening new doors of knowledge as I proceeded. The native English accent the tutors use made the whole lecture very to understand, and that really helped me comprehend the whole tutorials faster.
The lectures are practical, coupled with the student support program that allows each student to ask questions directly to the lecturer involved. The cybersecurity Bootcamp course changed my perception about cybersecurity, especially how it affects financial institutions and other corporate bodies. The career support section of the program helped me have a realistic knowledge on how the job as a cybersecurity expert works. It gave me a comprehensive insight about the world of cybersecurity outside these online classrooms.
Before now, I have always had problems with visual clarity when it comes to attending online courses. But I must give it to their website engineers, their live tutorial videos are pretty HD clear: that thing can make you focus, for long. Today, I am working towards taking a job as a developer, with special emphasis on developing effective security frameworks, all thanks to this course. All thanks to those who have made this possible.
