I learned a lot in this course and I would recommend this course for anyone wanting to get into cyber security. It is great for a large range of experince with computers and they will help you get an amazing footing on differnet operating systems as well.

I took the 14-week Cybersecurity course, after which I passed the CompTIA Security + exam on my first try.  But in addition to that, I practiced and gave presentations on Linux, Active Directory, Python, and even the programming of microsystems.  The numerous Labs throughout the course made learning the concepts of cybersecurity more accessible and memorable, especially as I did not come from an IT career.  

Knowledgeable instructors who are experts in their field and will do anything to help you succeed.  This course 100% prepared me to pass my security+ exam on the first try.  They even provide free housing in the St Louis area for those who need it.                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Started this bootcamp without knowing a single thing about cybersecurity and with the help of my instructor, I learned the fundamentals and gained the expertise to become certified in CompTIA’s security plus course. 

Attended Claim Academy in person 2022. Very knowledgeable instructor and mentor currently working in the cybersecurity field. Friendly staff dedicated to making learning an enjoyable experience. Went through course with no background in cybersecurity and left confident that I could pass the Security + exam. Instructor and mentor encourage questions on what to expect in the job, not just the exam prep. Veteran friendly school.

While it is accurate that Cybersecurity is an active and growing industry, do not believe that a Security+ certificate and 0 tech industry experience will reasonably land you a cybersecurity position. The course helped me pass this difficult exam, and has a great staff, but it is better for a future Cybersecurity professional to get IT help desk experience or a bachelors degree before trying to make the leap into cybersecurity. If you have either of these things, this course is for you.

0 support after graduation. they claim that they teach you python, ethical hacking, application security. this is all false. you touch base on them but you will leave without a base level understand of any of it. they cannot teach it because they do not have labs. the amount of turn over in this company is insane as well. nothing but empty promises and them being a little bit richer after the fact.
