I was a student of the Institute of Data Cybersecurity Cohort in 2022, and the concept it employs includes lectures, laboratory work for hands-on experience of cybersecurity principles and tools, and soft skills development. The 6-month journey provides an overall understanding of cybersecurity and application in the real world. It's rare to find a cohort where every aspect of the course is taught by an instructor who relates to the industry's reality. In 2022, I was hired as a sales engineering manager for an OT cybersecurity solution provider, and currently I am the head of cybersecurity training and development for a consultancy corporation. The course helps and guides me on my journey to be a cybersecurity professional.
