MCC Code School is helping me get up-to-speed in my career as a developer. It is providing me with the full scope of a developer's tasks in the real world. It does not only teach me how to program, but also how to use repositories to share and publish code, and to develop some soft skills, making me a well-rounded full-stack developer. We pair-program, commit and merge the code so that the instructors can review it. In my experience, traditional programming classes only teach you how to develop files. However, the Code School teaches you how to develop projects using the front and back-end technologies that are used in the workplace. It is more representative of what is done in the developers' "real world".
