Co.Lab Product Management Training Program

As someone looking to transition into the field of Product Management, enrolling in Co.lab was one of the best decisions I've made for my career. The program's comprehensive approach to product development and management provided me with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this dynamic field.

One aspect that particularly impressed me was the bootcamp's commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Despite the intensive nature of the program, collaboration and teamwork were encouraged, creating a sense of camaraderie among participants.
As a result of my experience at Co.lab, I feel confident in my abilities as a Product Manager and equipped with the tools necessary to succeed in the industry. I would highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to kickstart their career in product management or enhance their existing skills in the field.

I didn’t know what to expect from the Colab experience and needless to say,  it has been such an incredible journey.  I gained real-world PM experience working with talented designer and developers! I feel lucky to have had a team who are equally devoted and curious to learn and build the very first MVP. 

Taking part in this program was a great way to get hands-on practice building a product and working with a cross-functional team. The community aspect is also very valuable when looking for advice or different perspectives. To get the full experience and the real value, you need to really commit time and effort, so be ready for that and if you do, it will be a great experience for you too!

It teams you up with a team of 2 devs, 1 PM, 1 designer to create a MVP

Wondering how to crack the "chicken or the egg" problem of breaking into PM without previous PM experience? Co.lab is the way to get that hands-on experience. As someone trying to break into product management from a non-traditional background (dentist), Co.Lab was a game-changer for me.During my interview process, I relied heavily on my project and my experience with Co.Lab  to reshape my narrative from that of a dentist to that of a PM.Another plus is the community and network of other Co.Laborators you get to join.  Everyone is so supportive of one another and is a great resource to have in itself.Highly recommend. 

Co.Lab was a great experience for me to test not only my skills as a product manager, but also my PM personality and how I would engage with a team. Giving me an opportunity to work with a global, cross-functional team was an invaluable gem that I was able to take with me wherever I went. The courses are insightful, the instructors were passionate, and both the process and the outcome was rewarding.

It is difficult to describe the Co. Lab experience except that it is a community dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. The curriculum itself was very well thought out and staged so that as a PM you could discover a problem and validate that it was a problem and then when paired up with your team (a designer and developer) you were able to create solutions and get an MVP ready. The program was full of mentors from Big Tech to Startups (even a Rocketship!) and they were available any time (literally) to give you feedback and guidance. The fun didn't end with demo day, where we were able to present in front of industry professionals but continues until today where the support to find jobs and continue our projects is also available.

Participating in the PM track has been the highlight of my year thus far. I am so glad I decided to push myself outside of my comfort zone. This program has provided such great support from not just the mentors and my team, but the entire community.  I found it to be quite an intense program, but in a good way. I learned how to work collaboratively with a designer and two developers to create a functional MVP. I am proud of what our team has built over the past 5 weeks and am excited to continue working on further developing our product to improve the editing efficiency of podcasters. 

This was a fantastic journey and it provided me the combination of practical experience and community support that I never would have gotten elsewhere. Immensely grateful for the opportunity because all I have to do now is build on my existing experience. This course empowered me and I am no longer having to start from scratch. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for experience.
