C1 Training - Information Security/Cybersecurity

Joining the Women cybersecurity program has been a truly beneficial and transformative experience. I learned so much not only technical skills, but also how to build a continuous learning culture and growth mindset. The teachers, assistants, and career coaches played a huge role in this journey; their guidance, follow-up, and support made everything smoother and more impactful.From logistics to mentorship, every detail was designed to help me succeed, which made this program an extraordinary milestone in my career. It opened my awareness to how cybersecurity trends are shaping businesses today, and how we can add value by applying this knowledge in real cases mainly DevSecOps as kick off.I’m proud to be an early contributor in the women-in-cyber journey, and excited to implement what I learned and share what i learned with others. Having such a supportive community behind me makes all the difference. I’m truly grateful.And the cherry on top for me was earning my CompTIA Security+ certificate via the voucher shared with us to enter exam, which adds even more value and motivates me to keep going and connect with wonderful, lovely women from Egypt & Jordan.Highly recommended. Correlation One has a well-structured style that is well-suited for in-depth learning. This course enabled me to pass the CompTia Sec+ exam with ease. The instructors and TAs are working professionals who speak from experience, resulting in not only the knowledge required for the Sec+ exam but also realistic advice on the job market.

Great introduction to cybersecurity. Six month classes with test and projects. I was able to gain knowledge on cybersecurity. With the opportunity to gain security plus certification. All the teachers are amazing great teaching ability . Broke down how to break into cybersecurity. Also how to gain a security clearance. I have a great understanding of cybersecurity. How to protect my data as well as. How to perform for a cybersecurity job. They have an abundance amount of resources. We also are given access after graduation. 

I recently completed the Information Security Analyst Program with Correlation One that lasted approximately 6 months, at a pace that kept the entire community engaged. The curriculum was well-structured, with live lectures held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays covering various Information Technology topics and hands-on labs that were very beneficial, as well as numerous assignments to help reinforce the topics. The Instructors, Teachings Assistants, and career Success Coaches were very knowledgeable, and the Teachings Assistants were available for one-on-one sessions to answer questions and clarify any doubts. Furthermore, the training platform offered access to additional course material and job readiness resources. The community also engaged collaboratively via Slack where additional resources were shared. I would recommend the Correlation One Information Security Analyst Program because it was worthwhile and a great stepping stone to new job opportunities in the IT field.

Great TA’s. Solid Curriculum. Flexible assignment schedule . Resume and LinkedIn assistance was good. Coaching Calls very useful. All of these things I listed above were very helpful to my growth in the program. We also had review sessions towards the end of the program to help with the CompTia Sec plus exam. We also had one on one sessions with TA’s to help with any concepts that we didn’t grasp during class. The practice exams at the end helped a lot The program also had an AI useful tool to help us with our Resume. 

I’ve been with the program for half a year and it’s one of the easiest programs to understand. I’ve been through programs where their content are all over the place or they rush one of the heaviest topics that results in confusion after a session.
