C1 Training - Data Analytics

Curriculum included EXCEL, SQL, Python/Pandas, Tableau. And there was plenty about important but general, non-technical topics like data visualization and data curation.For each of the software products,  we learned, the basics but also some advanced topics:         SQL:  multi-table joins, temporary tables, CTE's, views, aggregate funcitons, ordering, grouping, string functions, subqueries     Tableau: filters, layout, dashboards, maps, layering maps     EXCEL: lots and lots of functions, joining columns, splitting columns, joining tables, search, data wrangling     Python/Pandas: doing all of the above but using Python     Numpy:  image classificaiion, image manipulationWe got a lot of Professional Development coaching including personalized advice from our assigned  Career Success Coach (CSC). And this coaching continues for 1.5 years after graduation!This was important because they made writing or updating your resume and Linked In profile a compulsory assignment so you were pretty well obliged to be job application ready by the end of the course. There was also a compulsory assignment to do a mock interview with your CSC.After you graduate there's an alumni Slack channel and alumni Linked In group.There were a large number of teaching assistants who were highly qualified and ready with high availability to help with coursework and for suggesting other topics for additional reading. Most of the TA's had 2 or 3 years professional experience as a DA so they really knew what they were talking about.Videos were recorded in case you couldn't attend, there were written lessons with assignments that supplement the lectures, and recorded lecture reviews for an extra chance to absorb the material.

Correlation One was my first online course. All staffs I encountered with were very helpful and always tried to supports students the best they could. There were a few opportunities for improvement but at the current state it still reaches great level. The curriculum is well thought off. Example materials used look and feel very real. Technical issues we encountered were resolved very quickly. Instructors are knowledgeable and up to date with current technology which is very crucial with this field of studies. 

Overall, it's been a great experience. The program is well structured and quite extensive, definitely enough to get an entry-level position. You are also given a lot of extra resources for a deeper dive into the material. All instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. For those who need extra help, you can ask one of the teaching assistants who are always there to assist you with course-related questions. One of the best features of the program is access to Career Success Coaches, who provide support with any issues related to a job search, including crafting a professional resume and a cover letter, creating a LinkedIn account, preparing for interviews, etc. I would highly recommend this program to anyone willing to start a career in data analytics. One thing to remember, though, is that after graduation the school does not provide jobs. You do, however, get access to the materials and Career Success Coaches to help you with your job search.

The syllabus is extensive and comprehensive, but it is organized and made simple by knowledgeable instructors and teaching assistants who are dedicated and available to support students. The skills acquired in this program are in high demand today, as they help solve current business problems.As participants acquire these skills, they are introduced to a Career Success Coach. This coach provides career guidance, job search strategies, resume building, interview preparation, and overall career development to ensure participants succeed in their job placements and career advancement goals. The entire Correlation One community, including the management, instructors, teaching assistants, career coaches, and students, becomes a family. This relationship extends beyond the training, as graduates automatically transition into the alumni network, maintaining a permanent professional connection.

I am thrilled to graduate in Data Analytics.10 cohort from Correlation One. The advanced Excel, SQL, Python and visualisation software sessions have helped me gain confidence to apply for jobs in this area. I strongly recommend Correlation One courses to my colleagues and friends.

The Correlation One - Data Analytics program is a great introductory course to get a feel for what it would be like working as a data analyst. The program offers real-world business cases to analyze with which one can learn and practice using the industry standard toolkit (i.e. Excel, Tableau, SQL and Python). The teaching and support staff are engaging and committed to your success in helping you understand concepts as well as with assisting in resume building/reviewing and mock interviewing along with providing a well-rounded set of resources to help you on your next job search/career change. Overall, a great program for beginners to dip their toes into the world of data analytics.  

Data Analytics curriculum offerd by Correlation One was so enticing that I chose it to pursuing for my career path. I found it more elaborative and engaging as I moved along. In Each and every step I walked through I got encouraging team members to work with. Correlation one presents one of the most intuitive and practical Data Analytics program available. The curriculum was well organized, covering essential tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python etc in-depth. I highly recommend C1 to anyone interested in Data Analytics. 

It has been an amazing journey for 23 weeks with Correlation One in data science program (DA9).  I have acquired substantial knowledge that opens the door for me in data analytics world.  Learning began with very basics of data concepts, then introduction of Excel, data visualization tools, SQL, Python and etc.  Using the data analytics tools, I have learned to gather, clean, analyze data and present results confidently and efficiently and gained comprehensive insight into data world. In the learning process, teaching assistants and administrative support help was available almost around the clock which was  nice to have given that we work at Amazon mostly full-time.  Moreover, career service coaches guidance on searching for jobs  are confidence booster.  Certainly learned effective and professional virtual communication via Slack, Zoom and etc.  Finally, I am glad that I have enrolled in the program and completed it.  

I had a good experience with correlation one. The TA are patient and ensures you understand what you are been trained. I like the fact that they start training you from basic excel.  I will recommend 👌 to anyone who is will to take any certification classes they have because they will ensure you are successful. I’m excited to be a Data Analytics graduate from Correlation One. Their program is structured to make the student succeed. From day one, you know what to expect. You have two amazing lead instructors that teach the class. One lecture and immediately after the first lecture, the other reviewed what was lectured. I attended Data Analytics certification program with C1, this turned out to be a life changing experience. In my first class, I asked our project manager (Austin Peterson) that I don’t know the basics of Excel, how will i manage it? And he replied, “everyone starts from zero, don’t worry, we are here to help”.
