I was looking for help on my technical interview preparation after struggling a bit when a senior advised me to to enroll in interview kickstart. On enrolling I found the course material to be really comprehensive and apt to what is generally expected in technical interviews. The course videos are helpful and they have a structured way of practice exercises to enhance the learning experience. The mentor sessions and support for technical queries was good too where I could reach out when in doubt. Overall it was a good investment for interview preparation.

I recently completed Interview Kickstart (IK) and want to share my honest thoughts.
Curriculum & Content: IK’s curriculum covers everything you need, from algorithms to system design, with live classes and mock interviews. It’s well-structured and up-to-date.
Instructors & Feedback: The instructors are top-notch—experienced engineers from FAANG companies. The personalized feedback during mock interviews was crucial for me.
Time & Effort: The program is intense and requires a solid commitment of 15-20 hours per week. It’s worth the effort if you're serious about cracking tough technical interviews.
Cost: It's on the expensive side, but the investment paid off for me as I secured the job I wanted.
Final Thoughts: Interview Kickstart helped me land the job I needed. It’s not a quick fix, but with dedication, it’s a game-changer for those targeting top-tier companies. Highly recommend if you're serious about your interview prep.

At first when I started the program, I was very unimpressed because, as some one coming from a CS background, most of the courses are already within my knowledge which, aren’t very good use of my time. However, what’s really valuable about this course is the support team. The mock interviews, and coaches providing tips to secure recruiters attention are something I could not have learned from academic experience only. Also to mention the coaches are all workers already working in FAANG companies, and the resource they provided are really useful to me personally on the career path.

Wonderful experience in understanding System design and its concepts. The content is very inspiring as to generate ideas to be applied in any stream of work and upkill. Interview kickstart has structured content to crack the toughest interview. They have instructor from the tier 1 and MAANG Companies and the experience of learning is great. The curriculum is very well structured and intense. Mock interviews are extremely helpful as they provide us the confidence to crack the actual interviews. The operations team is very helpful and all the queries are solved promptly.

Even though I am having a decade of years of software development experience, I felt that I was not ready to interview with MAANG+ companies.This is because the interview process has changed so much recently including live coding rounds and system design rounds. Though I had basic data structure and algorithm knowledge, it wasn't good enough to solve LeetCode, Hackerrank or competitive programming problems.I was a part of Backend Engineering program at Interview Kickstart and I would like to thank IK for delivering In depth study materials, test series related to fundamental and advanced DS and Algo topics along with System design topics. The curriculum is well structured and I have enjoyed and learned a lot by going through offline contents, live classes and time based test series. It helped me to gain confidence in giving interviews with top product based companies.

It was a great experience to go through a program where you gain in-depth insight from working professionals along with learning crucial techniques to crack software interviews. The material covered was great and very relative. The focus is more on being a better engineer and about the process to get there and can be applied to the current job or future job. The instructors were very knowledgable and very helpful.

The fundamental material they provide in their courses are exactly the same if you have gone through CS or related major. However on top of that they provide things university don’t teach, such as offer negotiations, effective ways to attract recruiters etc. And having mock interviews is also very helpful to track down what mistakes you have made in the past.

This is the best coaching for interviews. The approach taught in this program is practical and scalable. Instead of doing 500+ problems on leetcode, with a handful of problems, one can learn the strategy on solving them. Best support team ever, and interviews are from FAANG+ companies. As an ex-FAANG sr engineer, myself. Highly recommend! Well worth the money. 

I registered for the Early Engineering Program. It is a great refresher and deep dive into programming concepts and techniques. My current position for the last 3 years has low-code everyday tasks. Therefore, this program has efficiently helped me get back into it.Aside from the hard skills, soft skills are also developed. Overall a great experience so far and looking forward to my remaining time here before I get into my dream(FAANG) company.

The IK curriculum for interview preparation is well-designed and focuses on teaching problem-solving strategies rather than just providing solutions. The coaches are patient and helpful in answering questions. Mock interviews with instructors from FAANG companies provide valuable feedback for improvement. Overall, the program is highly recommended for anyone looking for structured interview preparation.

I loved most of the things about this program. It was very informative and cleared most of the difficulties I faced in FAANG companies, especially with system design and api design. Especially loved Nikhil's system design classes and Omkar's graph videos. If I had landed an interview with FAANG after I completed the program I would definitely have landed it, unfortunately, because of the recession all my interviews with FAANG got canceled, except for my second-tier company which I landed.Cons - I am not sure why, but there were classes for spring and AWS-specific databases, which weren't all that informative or engaging or structured for that matter. I wish we had more in detail system design and graph classes instead of the above mentioned two.

Interview Kickstart has a comprehensive program to help you prepare for interviews. The data structures and algorithms sections are excellent and very well structured, with specific emphasis on patterns to simplify the process of approaching new problems. System design program has a wealth of information and tips to prepare, although with a few growing pains as new instructors and materials are added. Operations team is responsive and helpful to address questions and concerns. I look forward to trying the mock interviews and career assistance as well.
