The MIT-Great Learning Advanced Data Science program helped me accelerate my learning journey;. Below are some of the key highlights1. Preparation: The prerequisites coursework available to students without a statistics or programing background are amazing and get you prepared to get the most of the course. Even though I had this background a refresher certainly helped2. Theory to Practice: The format of the course is excellent. We had amazing MIT Faculty go through concepts in the week and you have industry mentors that help you re-enforce it and bring you into the practical aspects of programing and analyzing on the weekend sessions. This is truly in line with MIT Motto of 'Mens et Manus' (Mind and Hand)3. Support & Infrastructure: The Great Learning Olympus portal and the program management staff are excellent, accommodative and helpful all along, which made the administrative aspect of accessing excellent course content, managing assignments and seeking support simple and effective.Overall, I would highly recommend this course to both engineers, tech leaders and business strategy leaders. For me personally, I hope to take this learning to build out the AI/ML strategy in my organization.  This is a journey and there is a lot more to learn, but this course sets you up for it well.

Had a great experience in this program. It was challenging, but helped me learn industry methods and practices for data science & machine learning. There's plenty of support, documentation, and content. Things move very quickly, so I'm excited to continue diving into the content, since I will have access for a few more years.

ADSP has served the exact purpose that I needed it to. I never wanted to be a data scientist, but I did want to transition toward a position where deep analysis skills that apply to AI and Machine Learning would be valuable; namely, working on a specialized technology consulting team, where I can serve as an effective resource for implementation management and AI GTM/Ops strategy. I wanted to better understand the business cases for data science in addition to getting some practical exposure, which has been great! I only wish it were more asynchronous, as my weekends and weeks can be quite full. This program offered the optionality to dig as deeply as I wanted into the technical and coding aspects of data science while also exploring practical business cases that enabled me to walk through the entire lifecycle of products and services through a data lens. The mentored learning sessions also helped to contextualize what I learned, especially given that we learn at an accelerated pace. If you can learn how to learn out loud and document what you learn along the way, ADSP can serve as a powerful resource for bridging skill gaps and enhancing your career goals.

The reason why I give this learning experience with GL a 5 star rating is because it is very complete and it is guided & mentored by top-professors adn an army of people that are active in the field. It doesn't get better than that.The live session really immerse you much more than a 100% self-study online approach.

I can affirm without a doubt that this is the best online learning  platform there is! The way the portal is structured help me go through the material, the professors and mentor were really reliable and explained the subjects in a beginner friendly manner.They provided all the resources and support required for the nest learning experience 

Pros: Modules were very well arranged and designed. Lectures by MIT faculty were top notch. I found interactive mentored learning sessions insightful and enjoyable. Case studies and lot of learning material on the learning management system are a great way to build hands on experience. Support by GL was prompt and effective always. Cons: Schedule was too tight at times to cover all the material well. Project feedback could be quicker.

The Applied Data Science Program was a big opportunity to deepen my knowlegde in Data Science, I have enjoyed the contents and support I got from the Great Learning staff, especially my Program Manager. She was very responsive and prompt to respond to all my questions and challenges that I was encountering during my studies,  though it was very difficult for me  to manage my time between the class sessions and my work commitments but the support I got from my Program manager, Prashi Agarwal helped me mitigate these challenges.

The absolute pro here is the well guided course material + live classes with MIT professors and mentor learning sessions with GL trainers. Another pro are the project challenges, which really required me to get deeply into everything. Especially Machine Learning as well as Deep Learning fitted perfectly into my daily business. Another huge pro is the MIT-ADSP community. So many class mates based from all over the world made it very interesting.The con is of course the timing. I needed way more time than initially anticipated, but from my final perspective it was really worth it :-) Thanks a lot !

This course gave me the foundation and tools I need to get back into the market as a Data Scientist.I appreciate the quality of the instructors and the work materials. Excellent program offered by Great Learning in collaboration with MIT. The course material starting from pre-work to each module is very thorough, in-depth and provides extra materials (as web links) across to give more knowledge.Mentor training was very useful, as it provided smaller group sessions with the industry experienced mentors and gave in-depth intuition behind ML algorithms. Support staff (as in MIT session coordinators, program  advisors, program managers) were very knowledgeable and helpful through out this challenging course. I highly recommend this course offered by Great learning !!   

In retrospect, this program caught me by surprise. Expecting it to be your usual online video recordings turned out to be the contrary.  It turned out to be thoughtfully structured and brutally fair in a way that provides all that is necessary for one to succeed and the rest is up to the individual. This program, from the onset, prepares everyone with Pre-Work courses that allows each individual the time to adapt to the curriculum load.The curriculum is fashioned to keep everyone engaged and challenged with real-world problems.  This intensive and immersive program equips everyone with pre-reads and actual reading materials before each topic. This then is followed with actual live lectures from MIT and Great Learning professors with expertise in the relevant topics.  These lectures are concluded with Q&A sessions where the teachers provide additional time included with other associates to help clear up any confusion! In addition to this, the support also extends to dedicated program managers who are continually available and provide resolutions to each students situation.It doesn't end there.  The courses also have mentored sessions to further ensure that students clearly understand the material with help from mentors !  Lastly, the courses also include practice quizzes and practice/guided projects, and actual quiz assessments and assigned projects and finalized with an insightful Capstone project - all this makes up quite a recipe for satisfying one's data science appetite.The learning journey was engaging and enjoyable and the MIT/Great Learning course's approach clearly demonstrated a priority and commitment to ensure that students were always in a position to succeed.Without a doubt, this program is highly recommended to better advance one's data science skills!
