Analytics Engineer Bootcamp

My name is Ahmed Maala. Before joining Liora, I had a strong background in IT hardware, PC assembly, diagnostics, and software troubleshooting — but I wanted to take that technical mindset into the world of data.I enrolled in Liora's Analytics Engineering program, which is fully funded by the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, and it has been one of the most transformative experiences of my career. The program is genuinely intensive — covering Python, SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, Machine Learning, Looker Studio, Make (Integromat), Git, Web Analytics, and much more. I completed over 30 practical exams and received my official Data Analyst certification, recognized by the Sorbonne School of Economics.What I loved most is that the program forces you to think like a real analyst — not just follow tutorials. The hands-on exam approach pushed me to actually understand the tools rather than just memorize them.My biggest piece of advice for anyone joining Liora: don't wait for the perfect moment — start building your own projects as early as possible. Even if you make mistakes, even if the project isn't perfect — that's where the real learning happens. Personal projects are what separate candidates who just have a certificate from those who can actually do the job.I'm now actively applying for Data Analyst roles in Germany and feel genuinely confident in my skills. Liora gave me that confidence.
