Glad I chose this bootcamp instead of my other options, you can tell these guys care about the outcome of their students. It was a good intensity level to keep you working hard consistently but not be overwhelming. 

My first bootcamp i signed up for was extremely shady and failed to deliver on the majority of the promises they made during enrollment. I ultimately left that program to try to dodge what remained of that bullet and my experience left a bad taste in my mouth regarding bootcamps as a whole as this was through a reputable university. A family friend eventually reached out with extremely high praise for Actualize and convinced me to give it a shot. I'm so thankful for that decision, this program is genuinely amazing. They're very transparent and make very realistic promises that they always meet. With small class sizes you receive lots of individualized support both in the camp and out, as you keep receiving their career support services for life after graduation (seemed too good to be true but they've delivered so far). I truly feel like i have been set up for success by this organization, easily the best and most fulfilling academic experience i've had in 10 years.

This is the bootcamp for anybody who wants a personal, intimate learning experience. The cohort size is ideal and the instructors work to make you feel welcome and cater to your needs. There are two TA's for each cohort as well that help you through your coursework and projects. Overall, there is more than enough help for aspiring programmers of all levels. 

Extremely good experience, I was able to learn a lot about coding because of the great curriculum as well as the instructor.  A lot of resources and there is a lot of focus on how to keep improving after the end of the bootcamp which was amazing.

Although I didn't try other bootcamps now I don't have to look any further! I came to Actualize not knowing anything about programming and now I am impressed with how much I have gained.I  feel they have prepared me with the tools to grow further and keep the moment of learning going. The classes are live, stimulating, comprehensive, and focus primarily on applicable skills that you will need in the workplace. However, we also learned the logic behind the commands we are using as well, which is something I think makes Actualize stand out from other bootcamps that only focus on the shortcuts. Not to mention, my instructor was incredible, both as a programmer and a mentor. If you choose Actualize, I highly recommend Peter. I cannot imagine anyone better but that's what I hear about all their instructors. If you are looking to make a career change or to brush up on some coding skills, Actualize is perfect for you. 

Before attending Actualize Bootcamp I heard many bootcamps were not legit or worth the dollar. I heard through word of mouth that Actualize was very good. The reviews I read were pretty good as well. After attending Actualize I must say that it is one of my best experiences in education. Shout out my Instructor Peter Jang who is amazing and my career advisor Lisa Tucker who is awesome. Also CEO Jay Wengrow is great at what he does. All in all Actualize is great for beginners and experienced student of code in the vast world of tech. 

I found Actualize through word of mouth and it really spoke to me because of the live classes. I had a great experience not only did I thoroughly enjoy the classes I really feel like I learned so much. I would recommend Actualize to anyone considering changing careers to the tech industry or wanting to learn coding in college. 

Great course. Very informative. Lots of hands-on practice. Lots of support once you graduate to help you find your first job. The course went over more than what was presented on the website which was nice. The curriculum is current to what is going on in tech and makes sure everyone is prepared to graduate. The instructor was super helpful and worked patiently with everyone in the cohort. The class size is small so everyone gets help and doesn't get lost in the crowd. The curriculum adds on as the week progresses until the final end when you make your capstone.  

The program at Actualize is so supportive. That was most important for me, there's always someone to talk too and coach you along. The instructors and counselors are really invested in your success not only as a student but a graduate as well! Highly recommend!

Actualize was recommended to me by 2 friends who had finished the program and got jobs. I worked a full time job (Non-tech) while doing the evening cohort. I worried a lot about the workload and being able to balance both; however, my instructor (Peter) was amazing. I never felt overwhelmed and he was always there to help and encourage me on my journey. I am extremely grateful for this experience. I would highly recommend Actualize and Peter! 

Not your typical online course. Super engaging faculty. Perfect for folks new to software development. I was a non traditional student and had a lot of experience, and the faculty took the time to adapt the curriculum to meet my needs. Lots of hands of coding with super support from faculty and peers. Strongly recommend. 

I started my Actualize boot camp with no prior coding knowledge. In 12 weeks, Brian Rice, my cohort instructor has amazed me with his teaching. He is clear and thorough. He is patient and explains complex ideas in simple terms. He explains the why instead of simply the what.I can tell that a lot of thought has gone into creating the curriculum. The flow of content was very logical and engaging. I feel that the only difference between me and a seasoned developer, is the amount of time and practice given to this skill. That is a crazy thought being that 3 months ago I knew nothing.The bootcamp is also set up with a great job search curriculum. The hours of job training and the ongoing support from the career advisors has given me confidence now that I am entering the job search.

Actualize does a great job teaching its curriculum in a way that is comprehensive and easy to understand, paired with exercises to practice everything you learn first hand. There is an endless amount of support from the instructors and career advisors that goes on way beyond when you graduate which is a huge stress relief for when you're looking for a career after the bootcamp.

I am just graduating from Actualize. I was unsuccessful at another bootcamp, won't say their name "T... something" lol but was sent packing. I found Actualize online and was impressed with the reviews, particularly on how they pride themselves on being able to teach coding, not just do it! In fact their previous name was anyonecanlearntocode.com I think. But I think it's been great, the way they presented it has been carefully wrangled over, you can tell. I think another plus is that they really strive to make it so that everyone can learn at their level. I am prepared to continue learning and thriving in tech... Hopefully getting paid to do so!

This course is not easy. It has 5 weeks of pre-work, plus the actual course work. It's fast paced and won't slow down for you. However, it is a very supportive environment, one which doesn't require any prior knowledge of coding. If you are interested in coding as a job, and have the discipline to actually commit to the full time frame, I would say it is an excellent way to decide if you have the temperament to code as job. It also helps that the instructors are teachers, and not just coders, and thus have experience in how to create curriculum and how to teach students. If you can succeed in this fast paced environment, I'd say you're well suited to coding in general. It's a good course, has good instructors, and felt collaborative the whole time. 

I'm writing this on my final day, something I had wanted to do having found it on course report, and it was something they asked. I was scared to go into a bootcamp, I had failed a Software Engineering Degree as a freshman fresh out of high-school, so that added a big stigma in my mind of going back into coding. I searched around for two big things, teachers who were all about interacting with the students, working alongside them, and how their job placement program operated. After a few weeks of researching price, reviews, and each courses goals, I went with Actualize. I don't regret it, in around 4 months I feel so much more confident in my coding then when I had two full semesters of C# and Java. My teacher was always happy to help, explain further, giver demonstrations, and pretty much idea pong at any time, and would get back to me when he couldn't. The job program during class has been amazing, really educating me and how job searches work, and hiring managers are looking for, and how to build my resume correctly! I'm excited to see where it continues to take me, as not only do I receive the programs help during class, I also have access to my counselors till Actualize stop's business. 

The Actualize coding bootcamp was really a great experience. There's a great balance between exposing you to new concepts without being overwhelming and giving you time to practice what you've learned. The instructor I had was phenomenal - very personable with tons of coding and teaching experience. The effort put into lesson and activity design was apparent from the get go. 

I can't recommend this bootcamp enough. Excellent instructors, satisfying work, and it's a lot of fun. You receive ongoing support after the course ends, as well, which is a big help to the job search. If you're on the fence, just jump in, I'm so happy I made the decision to go to Actualize. 

I had an awesome experience with Actualize. Everything went extremely well, from the application process to the class itself to everything they do for you after graduating. Amanda is an awesome instructor. She explains things so well and always helps reassure everyone of their progress. Going into this class, I had a small amount of coding knowledge from years prior, but I had no confidence that I would be able to learn all the skills on my own to be able to find a job in software development. After finishing the course, I have no regrets and would recommend Actualize to anyone. The way the course is set up is a great way to learn web development. Seriously, taking this course is one of the best decisions I've made.
