Leipzig is home to the European Energy Exchange, the leading energy exchange in Central Europe, as well as VNG - Verbundnetz Gas AG, one of Germany’s largest natural gas suppliers. A burgeoning biotechnology centre, Leipzig is also home to software companies, such as Spreadshirt. Coding bootcamps like Digital Career Institute also have campuses in Leipzig.
